Amaru Entertainment has announced the official release of two new posthumous CD’s from slain rapper Tupac Shakur.

The best of 2Pac - Part 1: Thug and The Best of 2Pac - Part 2: Life are two separate retrospective CD’s that will land in stores this December.

Each album was assembled by Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur and contains one unreleased song, one new remix and nine classic tracks from Tupac, who is the best selling rapper of all time.

Both CD’s showcase different phases of Tupac’s evolution and are available in explicit and edited versions.

The Best of 2Pac - Part 1: Thug and The Best of 2Pac - Part 2: Life lands in stores December 4.

In related news, the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Performing Arts Center will host a rededication ceremony for the Peace Garden in the facility, located in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

A statue of Shakur and the façade of the building were damaged by acts of vandalism, which resulted in the arrest of Kenneth Anthony Wilson , a 43-year-old African American who was charged with second degree criminal damage to property, which is a felony.

Afeni Shakur will lead a ceremony will start with a drumline procession into the Peace Garden and will be followed with a performance by PAC’s Kids, a group of students in the Performing Arts’ outreach program.

The event is free and open to the general public. For more information log on: www.2PAClegacy.com www.tasf.org

    Honestly,

Even when i went to Europe to Dublin, Ireland and another 3 countries i found the folowing 2pac cds listed below...This is getting awful....Whatever happened to the rumour of the 250+ hours of music or whatever it states in the books that i own of Tupac Shakur?????

Honestly im not buying these two albums....and im a HUGE Tupac fan....I want unreleased tracks .....something like R U still down remember me....awesome album....

2pac - The Prophet Returns (Deathrow Records)
2pac - 10th Anniversary - The Sex, The Soul, and The Streetz

Amazon.co.uk has them for sale...Im a Tupac fan and want to buy these albums but the money is going to Deathrow Records...The track listing is the previous releases tracks....basically "All Eyez On Me" and "Makavelli" but in different order...

Now Ill support it because its Afeni Shakur and you know that money is going towards the foundation. However its time to find a more creative way to present Pac's music to the masses. Maybe a Rock mash up? Hendrix and Unrealeased Pac verses? Nirvana and Unreleased Pac verses? Shit something, because this is getting played out.

Well they are still selling Elvis records. It's not like that dude has made any new music. The unreleased music from Tupac definitely exists. He recorded it all over a short period of time. Most of it was released on all those Makaveli bootlegs. They cannot be officially released because the current litigation ongoing about his estate.

It is still owned by Death Row/Interscope. They own the rights to more than 70% of Pac's publishing. Afeni is going to have a hard time getting full rights on those tracks because he was of sound mind and body(legally speaking) when he signed those contracts.

Tupac was very intelligent but he was signed to some shitty contracts. He put too much trust in the people around him. That explains why he shot up twice. Now the last deal with Death Row was under duress but not of the psychologically insane type. He just was motivated by hatred and couldn't do anything locked up so he did whatever he had to do to get out of jail.

atleast they should remix the songs....lets get some justin timberlake, kanye west, 50 cent, biggie smalls, and any other artists ....we as fans should be able to suggest who should be on the new albums....atleast if they were remixed with new artists....that would be awesome....or voting on who should be remixed with Tupac on such and such song ...

Loyal to the game wasn't that bad, a few good songs on that.

If they do put out this new shit, I don't want any more remixes with Eminem, T.I, Young Buck, Yung Joc or any other rapper like that, that does not deserve to share a song with 2pac.
