Fergie of Hip-Hop group The Black Eyed Peas has joined the all-star lineup of artists appearing on the 25th Anniversary edition of Michael Jackson’s hit album Thriller.

The Thriller - 25th Anniversary Edition contains the original album in its entirety, as well as seven bonus tracks and a DVD featuring the Jackson’s ground breaking short films from the blockbuster album, including "Billie Jean," "Beat It" and "Thriller."

Of the seven bonus tracks, six are unreleased, including "Beat It 2008," which features vocals by Fergie and production by will.I.am.

In addition to "Beat It 2008," the album features a new Kanye West remix of "Billie Jean," a 2008 version of "Wanna Be Starting Something" featuring Akon, will.i.am remixes of "The Girl Is Mine" and "P.Y.T."; and "For All Time," which is a rare, unreleased song from the original album that didn’t make the cut.

The deluxe Thriller edition also contains a personalized greeting from Michael Jackson, written exclusively to his fans for the release.

The original Thriller album is a blockbuster hit worldwide.

The album is certified 27-times platinum and spent 37-weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.

not to be disrespectful. but sometimes a clasic she be just that a classic yo. all the new artists and producers he's pulling to help remix this isn't needed. he coulda just re-released the album and put the rare joints on there. or just had sifferent instrumentals to some of the songs. but akon.....and fergie.....will.i.am..........they coulda stayed right where they were. and kanye's cool. but........the rest of em ain't worth it.

My thing is that is that classic albums should be left alone. I'm not trying to hear 10, 15 years down the road some off brand artists trying to remake The Chronic, Doggystyle, Illmatic, Ready To Die or Reasonable Doubt. Well scratch Reasonable Doubt...they already did that. =/

That shit will fly by in a couple of months, though it might have some type of impact I just dont think it'll be lasting especially this day and age with all the new gimmick artists. PLUS will it be enough to when over white fans. truth be told BLACKS werent the only ones alll over thriller he had that WHOLE WIDE WORLD AUDIENCE so ask yourself will the content of the new remixes and so forth play to the asian, japanese, and all the others outside of blacks and whites in the us alone. Im just thinking will they accept it

    @ gilla89,

The reason these folks are working with this new project is because not too many people want to work with a child molestor. M. Jackson has to be happy with whomever wants to work with him to help pay for his recent 300 million debt...

    ***************************

    @ EReal,

hahaha, for real i think he will pay off the 300 mill debt then go out on a molestation fling again and be brought back to court....

    ***************************

When will the molestation stop MJ? Honestly, Yeah his shit was good back in the days....but i refuse to support any artists who molest children....That is disgusting...Just because he has money he got away with both them cases...He should have learned off the first case....Stupid fool and gross person....

Jackson is lucky to even have these people willing to work with him...I wouldnt bother working with a 2x child molestor....even if he was once tried for child molestation...GROSS
