A U.S. District Court in California has agreed to hear Dr. Dre’s appeal regarding the dismissal of a lawsuit filed against Death Row Records, seeking potential millions in unpaid royalties. According to the Associated Press, Dr. Dre, born Andre Young, seeks to determine the amount of unpaid royalties Death Row may owe since the company filed for bankruptcy protection. The producer is seeking accounting information for his blockbuster 1992 album The Chronic. Dr. Dre seeks to have several documents relating to the label's finances handed over by February 29, while he seeks to have representatives for the label available for deposition by March 7. He claims that Death Row failed to properly compensate him and broke the terms of a distribution agreement when a third party began to distribute the record.

Does Dre or Suge own the master's to The Chronic? I am guessing Dre, he should buy all the master form death row for 25 million they are selling them. Then he could work with pac again and make money off pac albums. 25 million is nothin, Dre gots that shit.

Dre (With help from D.O.C.), Snoop, and Tha Dogg Pound got Death Row big.  But Pac made it take over the world.  When Pac died Death Row died.  And Fuck Dre I have given up on the Detox.  I will not buy it.  Dre's a snake in the grass, and he's never written a rhyme in his life.  He's a great producer and that's it (I wonder how many beats he's taken credit for that sombody else made).

There's already a tell-all book about Dre that's comin' out real soon. I guarantee that's just phase one.

On a side note: $25 mil for the Death Row catalog is highway robbery. Warner Music is on some real slick shit right now.
