The HipHopSodaShop (HHSS) continues to expand, as the business has announced plans to open new franchises throughout Canada.
HipHopSodaShop’s parent company H3 Enterprises recently completed negotiations with Multicore Group., a Canadian Corporation that specializes in the development of food and hospitality franchises in Canada.
"We are very pleased to enter into agreement with H3's unique operation," Multicore CEO Paolo Menzzi said. "Our group believes the HipHopSodaShop concept is perfect for existing operations to convert to the HHSS banner. We have well-positioned and established locations in Toronto, and Montreal West Island, and are currently evaluating the possible conversion of a number of units."
Executives with H3 are planning a trip to Montreal where a final site will be selected to open the latest HHSS.
While Menzzi offered no additional details, sources AllHipHop.com that plans are underway to open the first HHSS in Toronto this July.
In addition to exploring the possibility of opening HHSS franchises in France, Multicore has also partnered with H3 Enterprises to open a new HHSS in New Orleans in late 2008 as well.
Noted civil rights and Hip-Hop activist Dr. Benjamin Chavis is chairman and CEO of H3 Enterprises, a publicly traded Hip-Hop company.
Dr. Chavis is also the President and CEO of Russell Simmons’ Hip-Hop Summit Action Network.
