Hip-Hop power broker Steve "The Comissioner" Stoute is set to receive his highest award achievement on November 18, as the accomplished executive will be honored and inducted into the American Advertising Federation's Advertising Hall of Fame.

The prestigious award is decided by the American Advertising Federation, the senior and most esteemed organization in the advertising industry.

"Getting accepted into the advertising hall is something that I proudly accept on behalf of the entire Hip-Hop community," Stoute told AllHipHop.com. "This will open up doors for diversity in general market advertising which the industry definitely needs."

Stoute is the co-founder of Translation, a joint advertising firm he runs with fellow mogul and rapper, Jay-Z.

The company's focus is partnering music stars with corporate brands as spokespersons.

To date, the company has brokered deals with Beyonce (Tommy Hilfiger), Chris Brown (Double Mint Gum), Justin Timberlake (McDonalds), Gwen Stefani (Hewlett-Packard), and Jadakiss (Reebok).

Stoute's recognition as a Hip-Hop representative will set a precedent, since the award has historically been reserved for major executives of Fortune 500 companies.

Acutely aware of this, Stoute expects to see many ambitious minorities follow in his footsteps.

"Hopefully young, talented African-Americans and Latinos with ideas and creativity will look at this accomplishment and become inspired to get into the communication industry," he states.

Steve Stoute is well known as the former manager of Queens lyricist Nas, assisting in crafting the rapper's image for It Was Written (1996) and 1997's supergroup project The Firm: The Album.

Recently, Stoute partnered with Mary J. Blige to create the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN), an organization focused on the upliftment of women.

So he basically got acknowledged for telling the white man how to make millions-billions of dollars off black people? And you guys get excited? What is he really doing for the "hip hop community?" How many minorities does he employ? Name some specific charitable donations has he made that directly benefit minorities? Stop riding these dudes wallets.
Have you ever been to the 40/40 club and tried to have some wings and a drink for under $200? It goes real quick especially with the waitresses doing a FULL court press on you. These rappers/executives are taking way more from the communities than they are giving back.

You can't be a hater all your life. I mean damn dog, respect the fact that a man is being recognized for his achievements. Is it his responsibility to take care of your family, or is it yours? Have you ever heard of FFAWN? Its the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation For the Advancement of Women Now. They offer scholarships, grants, and programs to urban young women. Before you make public derogatory comments about other people, know what the fuck you're talking about! Dude told Jay Z to spit a line about Motorola 2-way pagers in "I Just Wanna Love You" and sent their sales through the roof just to prove to corporate America that the hip hop community sets trends that the world follows. Bet you had one, or at least wanted one. I wonder if you ever gave the white man cash for a pair of S. Carters or G-Units, since NOBODY had ever done a shoe deal with a non athlete until Steve Stoute told them they should. You can't congratulate a nigga for that? Guess you want to cut his nuts off though, huh Jesse?
