Nationwide Call Issued To DJ's For Final Election Push

With just a few days until the November 4 presidential election, Barack Obama’s campaign has requested the help of Hip-Hop’s DJs and radio personalities around the country to urge young voters to make it out to the polls.

In a nationwide conference call held on Tuesday (October 28) afternoon, mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and Democratic presidential strategist/CNN correspondent Donna Brazile eplained to DJs the importance they already hold as community organizers, and their greater potential in this historic election.

“I’ve never felt this way in life my life about politics. Our main goal now should be stressing to young people the importance of braving the long lines to make their voices heard for Barack,” Combs stated. “As DJs and music personalities we have to educate them to go to the polls prepared to wait. Bring an Ipod, go with friends, whatever needs to be done. If our forefathers can get killed fighting for us during the Civil Rights Movement and dragged to jail, the least we can do is stand in line for a few hours. We do more just to get tickets to a Mary J. or Jay-Z concert.”

Brazile, the first African-American to direct a major presidential campaign, echoed Diddy’s words, but also emphasized the importance of knowing the election rules at the state level.

“Each state differs in their polling policies regarding dress and items needed for first time voters,” said Brazile, who managed the Al Gore-Joe Lieberman ticket in 2000.

“Make sure to do your research on state laws to prevent any mishaps on Election Day," Brazile stressed. "Remember, as DJs you hold a powerful voice as representatives of the people. You all hold more power in your words than any politician simply because you have more credibility being in these communities. And be prepared in the last week for the continuous negative attacks we’ve seen from the McCain campaign.”

Millions of Americans had already cast their ballots early for this historic election, despite wait times in some areas exceeding 8 hours.

Experts expect this year’s total turnout to shatter the 1960, modern Election Day record, where 64% of the country voted in the race between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon.

Dear Readers,

What's your belief on the sanctity of human life?  Do you believe in its value from CONCEPTION IN THE MOTHER'S WOMB until NATURAL DEATH like I do?

If so, then I'll have you know the following:

1. Obama repeatedly killed legislation so that babies born alive after abortion would die.

2. He says his own grandchildren would be "punishment" for his daughters.

3. Barack wants to legalize Partial Birth Abortion again! (you know, the procedure where the baby's skull is split open and its brains are sucked out that Congress voted to ban, Bush signed its ban into law, and Bush's Supreme Court upheld that ban?)

4. Obama's Democratic party says it no longer wants abortion to be rare. (So he DOES want your babies killed!  That's genocide)

5. Barack wants all abortions to be free, paid for by your taxes. (So even us who value human life will have to pay for its mass slaughter!)

6. Obama wants to ban states from informing women about abortions, providing waiting periods, or requiring medical oversight. (So basically, he wants to pull out the safety plugs.  Women have been KILLED along with their babies like this)

7. Barack promises to appoint only pro-abortion justices to the Supreme Court of the United States. (Whereas neither Bush nor McCain are this exclusive, and support judges because of their ability to interpret the Constitution, not legislate from the bench)

8. Obama wants to stop parents from knowing if their young girls are taken for abortion by other adults. (If your grandchild was killed, you'd want to know who did it, right?)

So, because I'm pro-life (and being Catholic, voting for a pro-abort will get me excommunicated from the Chuch), I cannot vote for Obama.

I appreciate your understanding.

What is it that John McCain has proven he can lead? Give me one.  Ok!  The Iraq's want American out of their country!  What does two consenting Adults do in their homes is their business!  I don't know too many people making over 250k so what if their taxes go up.  Who I do know is a bunch of people making 45k-100k that are getting toasted in this economy and actually need the purposed tax breaks.  We all can agree that late term abortions are gross, but you conservatives refuse to add a provision for the life of the mother which keeps those gross acts legal.  To the contrary violent crimes rates have been increasing with the declining economy under Bush which McCain wishes to continue..... Therefore you can save you breathe homeboy.... go to another site........Barack OBAMA 08'

So basically you have ONE issue which is abortion.  RIGHT?  You listed 10 things and they all relate to abortion.  If your wife was raped by a person and she got pregnant would you want to have/keep that baby?  If a 10 year old girl gets raped and gets pregnant, do you think she's fit to raise that child?  There are so many children in foster homes now and so many OTHER huge issues in this country.. and all your country republican ass wants is another 8 years of NRA and war and unnecessary nonsense.. do some research before you eat your words homie!

Have you actually listened to McCain speak and watched his body language?  Can you honestly say that this guy ISN'T f*cked up?  He was a P.O.W. which in itself has to mess up the thinking and mental stability of him.  Being a "military man and a maverick" is more dangerous then you even know.  This man blinks 200 times per second and shows more anger and these cute smerks and laughs at issues... this is just the way this guy is... I'd be more afraid if McCain gets president that he'll die in a year or two and then it's the Moose Hunter as a president... c'mon fam!!!!!! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!!!!!!!!

Abortion is a privacy issue not a moral one.  I am a Christian and believe that abortion are sin.  I don't believe in projection or condemnation of other.

Projection-  the tendency to ascribe to another person feelings, thoughts, or attitudes present in oneself, or to regard external reality as embodying such feelings, thoughts, etc., in some way.

In plain english, just because I believe in Christ, I don't expect you to believe in him and will not restrain you from using your own free will even if it is contrary to what I believe.

McCain spent 30 years in the US Navy, and spent 5 1/2 of these years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam...But I suppose service to our country means nothing to you.

1. So you believe we should have just left Saddam Hussein in power?  If we withdraw right now, the insurgents will take over, and all hell will break loose!  I want the troops to come home, but I want them to come home with the victory, NOT the forfeit.

2. Our children will be SOOOO confused.  They still see marriage as between a man and a woman.  Plus, you're a Christian, right?  Didn't God say that homosexual relations are an "abomination to the Lord"?

3. Obama is a Democrat.  We all know Democrats want to raise taxes and increase government spending (the latter of which is the true cause of our poor economy).

4. Statistics show that only 1% of all abortions are because of "life of the mother".  Even if there would be a 75% chance of the mother's death without that procedure, there is a 100% chance of the baby's death with it.  Most mothers I know would rather die in childbirth than see their babies die.

5. Finally, what leadership experience does Obama have?  Did Obama ever serve our country in the armed forces?  Was Obama even a state legislator ten years ago?  Nope.

So, there's my take on the issues.

True Christians need to discourage others from sin-otherwise they'll be held responsible!

Ezekiel 3:18-19:

"(Thus says the Lord:) If I say to the wicked man, You shall surely die; and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his wicked conduct so that he may live: that wicked man shall die for his sin, but I will hold you responsible for his death.  If, on the other hand, you have warned the wicked man, yet he has not turned away from his evil nor from his wicked conduct, then he shall die for his sin, but you shall save your life."

So, if we personally believe something is wrong, we need to do all we can to turn others away from the wrong and to the right!

On another note, the "personally opposed but don't think it should be outlawed" line was used before in the 1800s when the issue of slavery came to the forefront!  If protesting and activism was able to end slavery back in the day, it will end abortion now!

I take that issue, because, in my mind, it's the most URGENT of our time.  A society is judged by how it treats its children, and when we allow them to be slaughtered in what's supposed to be the safest of all places for them, we've sunk to a new low.

Yes, there are plenty other issues, but I just feel we need to deal with the one that's most urgent.

Who cares if Saadam was still in charge? Thats Iraq. They dont have shit to do with us. Thats the U.S. problem anyway. We are always worried about everyone else. We have people here who dont even have a place to live and we are steady giving away money to all these other countries while people starve in our own.

....All this religion stuff you talking about has no relevance really. This is politics. I mean I am not voting but thats my right but for you to come on here and try to point out all these points based on religion makes no sense. Religion and politics do not go together. They shouldnt anyway. I dont care if the President was Muslim, Buddist or whatever. Just as long as he is taking care of us (U.S.) then who cares. People are people regardless of religion. Religion doesnt do anything but divide us more as people.

And who really cares if gay people can get married. If your not gay then what does this matter to you. If cats want to sword fight and chics want to rub carpets then let them be. They aint hurting you...And I stress my point again...PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE...

And what about Bush....Bush never served this country. Bet you voted for him though. Right????? Riiiiiiiight. You really make no sense money.

And you say if your daughter got pregnant adoption would be another choice....Do you know how long some of these children stay at the homes waiting to be adopted? 5+ years. Do you know a lot of these kids that dont get adopted usually start making a lot of bad choices. Its a womens decision as to whether or not she wants to have an abortion. Not congress, not the senate, the house, you or anyone else. We scream all this shit about FREEDOM but people like you still try to make it to where we arent free.

Not trying to discredit his service which was honorable, but surviving as a POW only means you can take an Ass Whippen and keep on ticking!!!!!!

1.  Hell Yeah, Saddam should still be in power he was a head of state of a soverign nation.  The first time in history the U.S. invaded a country without first being harm or threaten... That set a bad precedent around the world... If George W. Bush don't like your leader he might bomb your village.

2.  Gay Marriage is a person, privacy issue.  Consenting adults should be able to be as miserable as I am (LOL), and Kids are confused because ignorant as parents think kids live with blinder on.  Even if they cant marry you will still see a gay couple in the mall, at dinner etc.  We are talking about rights to inherit and visit.  Wise Up

3. Democrats and Republicans have both supported the progressive tax plan here in the USA, Barack just want to get the rate back to the place they were before Bush decided to give his rich friends more tax relief.

4.  Most people who are pro-choice agree that abortion should happen by the end of the first tri-mester.... If you conservative would agree to the life of the mother provision then that would probably be law in 40 states.  Why would a mother with 3 kids decide to die to save one when she need to take care of the 3 she already have... She should be able to privately make that decision without some asshole in washington telling her oh fucking well pick a plot and casket.

5.  Obama have served.... he has served his community, his state, and the nation.... He could have chose to work at a top law firm out of havard and easily make mid six figures but he choose to serve.

I would LOVE there to be a black President someday.  I think it would be a great sign of progress.  I just don't think Barack Obama's the one.

NEWSFLASH: A black man was running for the Presidential nomination in '96 and 2000 (he went by the name of Alan Keyes).  Why weren't you all throwing your support down for him then like I was?

Little too late for all that, my man!  We're at the point
where everybody knows who they're gonna vote for...the time of persuasion is over.  Besides, McCain had his chance to prove himself and he dropped the ball way too many times, especially with that Palin bitch.

It's Obama / Biden for the '09

If them people get to talking about dimpled chads, butterfly chads, electronic vote switching, or any kinda silly bullshit and Obama dont win, I'm moving to Kenya, Africa.  I aint waiting another 477 plus years for another man of color to get this close to the top job in this nation and lose.  Who's coming with me?
