The release date for Jay-Z's highly anticipated album
The Blueprint 3
has been shuffled due to bootlegging and leaks on the Internet.
The new album will now be released this Tuesday (September 8) as opposed to the original date of Friday, September 11.
Over the past two week, songs from
The Blueprint 3
- mainly those produced by Timbaland - landed on net.
More recently, the entire album was leaked, prompting Jay-Z to address the issue in an interview.
“I may be the most bootlegged artist in history,” Jay-Z told MTV News during a press conference. “It’s a preview. I’m excited for people to hear the album. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done, so enjoy it."
Jay-Z's benefit concert supporting the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund will continue as planned on September 11.

God created Lucifer with viols built into is body. Therefore Lucifer had the ability to create music. He was the son of the morning and ushered in the presence of God.
Now Lucifer relized that music had the ability to manipulate the minds of the heavenly beings.
So Lucifer decided he would exalt his throne above the stars of God and overtake his throne. And for that reason God threw him out of heaven, and his name became Satan.
And the heavnly beings that was manipulated by him fell also.
So now that we know music had the ability to manipulate heavnly beings, the same thing happens today with music we listen too. Our minds are being manipulated by the music.
Example: Jay Z calls himself Hova and throws up a so-called roc symbol.
The crowd follows. Calling another man Hova which is God. Now why would we call another man God? He's just as human as anybody else.
People think Jay Z is the greatest to ever do it...and why? because the peoples/sheeple minds have been manipulated with his music.

People want Dre to release Detox but I can tell you that won't happen. Look at the numbers "The Chronic" did. Because of that album, Dre is respected as an artist. If he drops in todays climate, the numbers won't come close to what has given him the comfort of being a respected artist. The Chronic went multiplatinum which is almost impossible in today's day and age especially thanks to dlding and bootlegging. It would tarnish his legacy on the mic IMHO if he dropped a highly anticipated album only for it to be downloaded and only go wood this time around. So for that reason, Detox ain't gonna see the light of day. Dre's a producer and getting that executive money, so I think we are more pressed for the album then he will ever be. Shit, its been coming since 2004.
Until illegal downloading is addressed and a solution is implemented, I don't foresee this Dre's album or countless others being released. Don't with my little rant, now off to brain storm....

Blackhaven1...your question is moot...i.e., it has little value. I don't believe in Jay or Yahweh or any deity, for that matter...waste of time. I can think for myself and I don't need some ancient text to guide my actions/thoughts. I don't criticize people for what they believe in, but I can't stand it when people try to throw their beliefs on other people...it always comes across as hyper critical of other people and how they choose to live their lives. Who are you...some kind of authority? You're nobody..as am I. I don't care about how you feel about Jay's music...SMH.

Bro we are all entitled to our opinions for certain, and as you indicated your moms, girl, daughter, etc all know who Jay is, true indeed. But I know a lot of brothas checkin for Rae's shit. I f**k with Jay's s**tand of course I f**k with Wu, they cater to two different markets essentially. Brothas with their ear to the street checkin for Rae's shit. I guess you can't feel the streets. Me personally I f**k with s**ton so many different levels. Last night in the whip I was banging Beans' new shit, got to the crib poured some crown royal and popped in some Sade greatest hits simply put I f**k with good shit.
Keeping it real bro, calling other brothas with differing opinions "lames" ain't cool at all, hey but I'm an older brotha so what do I know...SMH....

Oh and btw yes I have heard of Gospel rap, but as much as I've been at this site over the last few years I have rarely seen Gospel rap discussed much less promoted. If I'm wrong then please correct me. So again I ask why are you on this site?
I think you should just admit you came on here to promote your agenda. I mean it's cool I would at least I would respect that.

First off, I think this story is bulls**t. Everybody knows music labels release albums on Tuesdays so they can get a jump start on first weeks sales. Why release an album at the end of the week and make your first week sales low? So the story about the album being leaked and that is the reason they "pushed" the release date to September 8th is a crock of shit. They were planning to release it on the 8th from jumpstreet. Second, I think Raekwon's OBFCL2 is building a bigger buzz. Jay not stupid, Rae is his only competition right now, so he is gonna do whatever to get his buzz bigger. Doesn't matter, I'm still copping Cuban Linx 2 over Blueprint 3. Not saying I don't wanna hear the new Jay-Z, but Raekwon deserves my hard earn money this time around.

Jay-Z repeatedly comes in the name of the Lord...
Now don't get me wrong - I love this man's talent. He's a one of a kind (Shawn Carter) ... but sometimes I even call him "Hova" and I wonder...
"When has another rapper called himself in the name of the lord?"
However... Jesus' name was really Yeshua bin Yusuf... and so in human form (according to my belief) that is God's name. Therefore - I just see it as megalomania on Mr. Carter's part. A big bragger - as is the custom in HipHop and an alter ego if you will to say "Jay-Hova" a.k.a Jigga, Hovito, William H. Holla, S.Dot, etc, Lucky Lefty, etc...etc... -- Hip hop is built on aliases
BPIII is definitely a "rocky" listen... it doesn't have the seamless flow that certain other albums have... however he's an innovator and as such is a very talented musician and visionary man. Nothing more than that and he's far from God. I don't think even Jay-Z thinks he's God ... but if he's the Devil... then so is any other rapper who glorifies the EARTHLY desires that pollute 99.9% of hip hop. However - Hip Hop is far from the only music genre that celebrates sex, drugs, and rock and roll...
If you want something wholesome... go listen to Jin I guess...LOL

Why does everybody who isn't planning on copping Jay's album seem to have commited some type of blasphemous act to those who plan on buying it?
simply put, Rae dropped a better album to me.... I don't listen to music for no other reason than to enjoy the music........
i can give about as much of a f**k as two drops of piss in a ripped straw about these dudes personal achievements, thats why i don't make top 5, 10, etc type lists........ none of that "off the mic" isht directly affects none of you dudes, relax and wipe ya mouths a bit...
some are gonna cop Jay, some are gonna cop Rae, some might actually cop both..... I know a dude who'd pretty much go to war over one denouncing Jay as the greatest MC ever, now this aint no late 90's stan type dude like most be, he's one, who like myself seen Jay evolve from the start to now, but nonetheless, sun said he not even ufckin wit Jay no more and he's one who probably knows every song dude recorded and everything.......
and lmaoooo@these fake soundscam pro's, the amount of units rappers move does nothing for your benefit, does nothing to solidify if an albums actually classic or not.... if you don't get paid to analyze the stats and trends of the sales, what does it matter, and what argument does it win other than one sold more than another?
aww man i'm done, ya'll funny!
Peace!

Love Jay, own all his albums, but I wont be copping this one. This album sounds like trash. Funny thing is, its not Jay's rhymes. Its the production! Theres a couple of decent joints on there, but the rest is horrible.
Sounds like Raekwon and Skyzoo will have the better 'hip hop albums of 2009. Both albums are complete LAVA!

Why are NIGGAZ so critical of NIGGAZ??????? Jay-Z is an evolved artist that doesn't even rap about that street s**tanymore! Listen to BP3...the best way I can describe it is "positive energy." Some of the s**the is saying on there is damn commendable...like how you have to grow up, can't be stuck on stupid, etc.
The way I see it is the way NIGGAZ show it to me. And that is...a black man can't win for nothing...
If a black man is intelligent, has money, or is successful, then he's booshi. If a black man grows up, then he's a "old ass n***a." If a black man becomes president, then it really means that he's a freemason and a part of an elite, secret society.
But if a black man is broke, no education, fresh off a 30 year bid, still smokes weed in his 30s, goes home and smacks his girl up, hits his mom up for cash on the first of every month, and / or selling drugs on the low...then he's the realest mutha fucka on the face of the planet!
TONY MALIBU AIN'T BUYING THAT SHIT!!!!!!!!
NIGGAZ are so ass-backwards that it's a wonder they're not extinct by now. SOME black people equate reality to struggle, and can't rise because they are their own worst enemy! Even Plies...who you can barely understand sometimes, has better sense than that! On his song "Live Like The Rich Folks," he said...
I want my son to be the first one with a will,
Send him to college and pay it up for four years,
Let the streets be mad and tell 'em he aint real,
Cuz motherfuckers hate you when "good" is how you live,
Cause nowadays "broke" is what the streets call real,
The same mother fuckers who can't pay their f**kin bills,
Take it from me bein broke that ain't trill,
It feels even better bein worth a couple mil

Here's my question... When did your favorite rapper's rapper become the anti-Christ? Jay too old? He ain't the oldest rapper that most of yall are checking for. Matter of fact, some of yall have been saying Jay too old for soo long, that, according to you, rappers should retire after they turn 30. Yall want Jay to rap like Common, dead Prez, or Mos Def, but 90% of yall AIN'T buying THEIR CDs either. If Jay did flip it and rap like that, then yall would say he on some BS and he really need to retire cuz he biting such and such's style. He making too much money... UHHHH THAT'S THE POINT!!! He hatin... TOO FUNNY! I watched the state of hip hop since T-pain blew up with the auto tune. I watched what a lot of you said in the music section when yall got to hear the new joints they dropped. "I'm sick of Auto tune". "This s**tis out of control"! "Would someone please address it!" then here comes DOA and now yall got amnesia!! Too funny. Half of yall are like Smokey on Friday. Yall talk all that shit, but once something jumps off, yall be forgetting shit, or be quiet til the smoke has cleared.
Here's the bottom line. Yall claim yall keeping it real or are fans of hip hop, yet yall kick more hate than a scorned woman. Yall hate Soulja Boy, Yall hate on Webstar and Bow Wow. Yal hate on Jay. Hate on Raekwon (for running up on Buddens with crew), hate on Em, Dre, shit, I could go on for days. If you don't like whoever, then DON'T BUY THEIR PRODUCT. I hate the hell outta the 2 Bi-polar ass rappers Game and Buddens, but you know what... if they doing damage, then they get props. Bottom line.
In the words of Ice Cube, get off my d**k n!99a and tell your b***h to comere! Lol, get a life and STOP HATIN. Long live Hip-Hop in whatever form it transitions too in the future. If you ain't supporting it or contributing to the evolution of the art, then yo're part of the problem!

How ignorant are you? your whole world dates system is based on the Bible. So if you think the bible is a fairytale, then so is everything else including todays date. Idiot.
Anyway, enough of that s**tbut on the real, why is everyone going on about downloading takes money away from the artist. An artist only get about 8% of the store sale price. It's those multi million record companies that lose out big. If anyone is shafting the artist, it's the record companies, not the pirates. And Jay is a multi-millionaire anyway, so I'm gonna download this one for free. Consider it charity Jay, for all the albums I copped when you were coming up.
If artists wanna make dough, up your music game and make your dough from live shows. Even artist that sell over five million cd's will tell you they make more from live shows than from cd's. I know these pop idol, x factor musicians will disagree with me because their talent relies on the publicity machine. But in order to promote real music, download the cd's for free and spend your dough on the artists live shows. That way, your artists gets more money than they would have got from you and you get a good night out.

Just a foot note. Don't take what I said too literally. An artist will still have to make a few sales to justify their record contract. So if your artist has trouble going gold, then by all means buy the album so he/she can keep their record deal. For millionaires like Jay, Nas, 50 and maybe even Soulja boy(YUK), download it.
