Rappers Keith Murray and Canibus have announced their debut EP The Undergods will hit stores digitally tomorrow.

The pair’s self-titled debut collaborative album is slated to land in the iTunes music store via the Seattle-based record label, Sound Records.

“Essentially the name symbolizes underground and then you know gods with it. The aspect of where we been rhyming from since the inception of our careers, even though they happened at different times,” Canibus stated. “We mastered certain aspects of lyricism and hip-hop so and that’s how you but the gods there. We mixed it up that way.”

Sounds Records was launched 18 months ago buy owners Kenny Stumbo and Noah Hartkopf.

In addition to Keith Murray and Canibus, the label’s roster includes Bronze Nazareth, Project Lionheart and Bekker.

According to both Canibus and Keith Murray, their friendship started around 1995, based off a mutual love for “blunts” or cigars filled with marijuana.

According to reps for Sound Records, The Undergods EP will feature production by The Beatminerz, Amadeus, Gordo and Hip-Hop legend Erick Sermon.

“We did a record together for one of our mutual friends, but we were in two different parts of New York,” added Keith Murray. “So I just said ‘yo let me get Bis’ number. Call him up and said lets put together an album. From there we got backing and went into a multi-million dollar studio, got a platinum award winning engineer so it come out right crispy and industry standard. And here we are with the energy that we set in motion 15 years ago. “

Fans were treated to an early glimpse of the album in June, when the track “129” was leaked to the Internet.

The Undergods will be available for purchase tomorrow for $5.99.

I am going to cop the album, you have to support real hip hop. Keith Murray is a slept on legend that is a mad cool dude, I even smoked out with him back in the days at a club in NC.  But as far as Can-i-bus.  That dude is straight legend, make no mistake about it.  He is one of my top five dead or alive and this might upset mad people, but f**k it.

Dude deserves his respect, the industry shitted on him and he was blacklisted for standing up to a lot of people.  He also mad a lot of enemies within a short period of time but real talk he had your favorite rappers shook of him.  No one, and I mean no one wanted to go on after him or even freestyle with him.  To keep it 100, I know mad rappers that I came up with in NY and a few used to cop pleas to DJ Clue to not put their freestyle after Bis. I aint making this s**tup, real talk.

IT YOU TAKING LOSSES ON THE BUSINESS END OF THE GAME AND ALL YOU DO IS PUT METHAPHORS TOGETHER THAT DONT MAKE SENSE IM COOL ON YOU. THATS NOT MY CUP OF TEA. WE CAN AGREE TO DISAGREE BRO JUST LIKE I PREFER NON-FICTION READING AS OPPOSED TO FICTION...HELL YOU MAY LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT FANTASY RAP OR PREFER TO LEARN A NEW DANCE WHEN YOU POP I A CD (WHICH IS COOL IF THAT WHAT UR INTO) BUT MY PREFERANCE IS TO EITHER BE ENLIGHTEND OR INSPIRED BY SOMEONE WITH BUSINESS SAVY THAT GET MONEY OR SOMEONE TELLING THEIR TRUE STORY FROM A FIRST PERSON PERSPECTIVE....TO EACH HIS OWN...

Cosigned TYBO2020 & Jay_Omen on the Bis mixtapes.  I got just about all of them.  As far as dude's career, he was a victim of the music biz.  A few people did him dirty, I wouldnt blame it so much of LL and Clef but the hip hop battle rapper doesnt go platnium. Thats just it.  I dont think Bis ever went gold or shipped gold on any of his releases but that makes me support him even more because he is the underdog in the rap game going up against the 900lb gorillaz.

You have to love how he went at LL, Beanie Siegel, Camron and many others.  Dude didnt care about hurting anyone's feelings and he made it known that no one was better than him, even KRS1.  I know that was crazy of him but I felt his attitude and any real rapper should feel that way about his craft.  I always looked at rap as a competitive sport and as with any type of competition there are winners and losers. Everyone cant win and everyone aint going to be nice on the mike. There has to be a force in rap to make other rappers aware of their wackness.  KRS1, Rakim and Big Daddy Kane did it for their eras, Pac and BIG did it for the 90's but you cant leave out Bis.

I remember back in the days, I used to bite peoples rhymes that no one heard of and then I went to the studio to record a demo. Let's just say I was pure wack and knew rapping wasnt for me. My homies laughed me out the studio and my block banned me from rapping. Nostrand Ave is serious about hip hop. I now feel that the same way you need a license to drive, you should need a license to rap.  Hip hop aint dead but its on life support.

"I was nice before Christ and the words let there be light and the light took over the night"  "I took this rap s**tto new heights before the Right brothers took flight"

Damn this is the first I've heard of a Keith Murray and Canibus collabo.  I may be late, but damn...this is truly the "odd couple" right here.  I was a Keith Murray fan from jump street, but Canibus had to grow on me (and still is).

As far as lyrics go, both are very VERY intellectual artists, except that Keith Murray is more comical with his style, while Canibus' rhymes are jammed-packed with all sorts of thought-provoking info.  I dunno...it may work, we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm definitely coppin off the strength of Mr. Murray.

Canibus fell off just about as hard as a rapper can fall off and keith Murray in my opinion is an average lyricist who uses some long words.... I'll still listen tho and hope its good although that foolish picture at the top doesn't instill much cofidence in me.....

So it's not dropping in stores?  I'm going to cop it regardless, but I'd rather have a cd than some digital ish.

@ Dude who said people under 25 ain't checkin' for this, wrong.  I'm 19 and been a fan of Canibus for a good minute.  RTJ and Mic Club: The Curriculum are classics.

I copped it earlier and just finished listening to it. I must say as a fan of both respectively, it is average at best !! All these n***as do was rhyme. No type of concept driven lyrics and and the majority of hooks ain't have s**tto do with what they was spittin' about !! The production was all over the place also. These cats just seemed high as Hell in the booth. Honestly, if you are looking for some stand out verses, not here. I was expecting an explosion of "yes !! We're here but we never left !! It's like they were spittin' just for the sake of it. For 2 emcees that have been gone for a minute, I wanted them to have a chip on their shoulder with something to prove.
