EPMD made the hardcore talk commercial. They went Gold what, 5 or 6 times consecutively, and they was talkin about gats and raps and chicks.

Rampage is the jumpoff! So What Cha Sayin... Crossover...

Headbanger is classic. Ruff Ryders redid that shit hot too! Put that vid up Illseed! Thats a classic, with the "Fallen" theme an whatnot.

And props to EPMD for doing the vinyl thing. Hopefully that brings about a resurgence in the vinyl game.

That's a great look for hip hop...it always seems that in other genres (ie country, pop, rock and roll) the older you get the better you get, but not in hip hop. Why can the rolling stones or bob dylan still sell out stadiums, but nobody wants to acknowledge Whodini, MC Lyte, Slick Rick....I mean yeah in NY they would get support at a local club, but imagine them going on tour like van halen! Nada, nothing doing...nobody out side of NY would be there. So EPMD coming back makes Hip Hop Look Excellent. Much Support

Peace to EPMD. Who says you have to be in your 20's to love hip hop. I've been down since day one. I agree with Vega. All these old Rock and Roll groups are still touring and gettin love from their fans. We call our groups " Old School " and show em no love. Artists like PE, EPMD, Big Daddy Kane, Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul are still in the game, but people call them irrelevant cuz they don't sell millions of records and that's unfair. These kats are still touring and making muisic for their fans no matter how small the numbers here in the states, but they are more respected over seas. In my opinion, there is still a market for the "grown up" Hip Hop. Plenty of people in their 30's grew up on hip hip like me. I like the new artists, but I also like the ones I grew up listening to, and just because they don't get radio or video play, doesn't mean they should leave the game. I will always support the underdog. I love Hip Hop, just with a few less Bitches, Guns, Drugs and Rims.
