But what he's saying is that education is important, like i said above at least graduate h.s... A lot of kids is dropping out before they get a diploma and find out that in life you can't do ish except sell drugs or be a wannabe rapper without a diploma or at least a g.e.d...
But at the same time i will admit that It's not just on the school system and that it's important 4 us to take iniative and educate ourselves. IMO... everyone should read 6 books a year outside of schools or work material.

Just look at what the show "Shaq's Big Challenge" proved. When I was in school, we had recess every day, and in junior high you had to take P.E. Now kids get to choose, so they sit around on their fat asses and get even more obese.
Along with that, this laziness leads to laziness in the classroom, and I think if we don't do something, we are looking at a rather bleak future.

the fact of the matter is this... high school is your first of many accreditations someone recieves in his/her lifetime. It shows that you have the ability to stick to a goal and complete it. Thus, graduating from school is just as much patience as it is the ability to show people that you are willing to learn. It's hard to really construct a reality about the situation is parents aren't willing to teach. That's the reason why kids drop out... not music or fashion(although that the lazy man's way out). I applaud Kanye and others for attempting to free minds about american schooling, but realize not matter how much flowers and fences you got outside your house... if it's family discord within... what's the point??? The american school system is just like it's financial system... capitalistic. That's what makes this country great... the fact that you can do anything to make a buck. It's sad though that you now have to send your children to private schools to properly teach them. I hear a lot a comments on allhiphop and I value everyone's opinions, but no one really has the commitment to change. One person can't do it. The power is in the masses... not just some. Our country is just like yourself when you look in the mirror.... You see what you want, and ignore how you feel inside... Our system has a fresh bucket on, new sneaks, the flyest gear... dressed up real nice right?
