Im so tired of hearing about the album being pushed back....When it finally does come out to the field of hiphop....then yeah i will buy it and so will more then 5-6 million people....Dr Dre is a classic from time....Im sick and tired of hearing about how it is being delayed over and over again....It is becoming pathetic if you do think about it...Like yeah he is an awesome producer....if he cant sell an easy 2-3 million the first week even with downloading then there is problems and he should just stick to producing and working with his artists....

I will buy a copy for sure when it comes out...

To tell u the truth, I am not looking forward to Detox UNLESS he comes with some new production. Same goes for another Eminem album. Dre's sound is really tired. The joints he's put out for artists since his last album all sound like he is stuck in the 90s.
I think dude should stick to liftin' weights, and photographing whatever he likes to photograph otherwise, I really don't think he's really getting the picture if he drops Detox that sounds dated.

The "R" is real East Coast, New York City, Queens Hip Hop. The "R" would never let somebody like Dre tell him how to make his music. Dre on the other hand has always been a commercial, find the fad, type of producer even though his beats were good. There is a fundamental philosophical difference between The "R" and Dr. Dre. I respect The "R" forever because he would rather not put anything out if it aint his sound and that's real because there is no way an emcee like Rakim should be hampered by some studio gangster like Dr. Dre.

Moving on I will say that Real Hip Hop is still alive. The latest album from Sean Price was DOPE! I know the BCC are content with being underground but it is amazing that people talk about how weak Rap is right now.

The only Rap that is weak right now is the mainstream artists and that is because the major labels are always balancing their profit margins against releasing new talent. In the majors game it really is about record sales because of their overhead.

As far as Eminem releasing a new record, I am not excited about that. He does have lyrical skill but I thought he was going to fall back and bring fresh talent into the game. It seems like all of these cats just want to hang around. Every rapper seems to think they are going to save Hip Hop when Hip Hop doesn't need saving, it just needs less wack rappers clouding the airwaves.

Whenever this album comes out (it doesn't matter if it's 5 months or 5 years) it'll be a classic. Dre never gives you anything less.
