Good to see him doing something constructive like this. Most rappers probably don't even read, so this is definitely a good look. I'm a C fan, but I never expected to see him doing book club chats. That's some good stuff

I bought C-Murder's book for 3 reasons.. 1. I'm from Da Boot (so I supported the home team) 2. I like his music 3. It was something different from rappers doing clothing lines. It was definitely a good read. He developed his characters nicely. I didn't want to put it down until I had finished the whole thing. Say what they want about this man but HE'S TRU in every way, form & fashion. And he got "Book Of The Year 2007"!! What other rapper got "Clothing Line Of Any Year"???? Exactly.

why do we compare what one rapper does vs another rappers?thats a good look for c-murder.. i guess he had TIME on his hands to write a book...get it TIME.
i Guess cause i'm not from the LA or L.A. that this shit dont facinate me. Tookie Williams did it already i guess convicts and felons get xtra pats on the back when they put effort into something other than crime.

WRITING BOOKS IS THERAPEUTIC, NO DOUBT. I DO IT MYSELF.I GOT 2 OUT SO FAR.
"DEATH AROUND THE CORNER" IS A GREAT BOOK TOO. COREY DID HIS THING WITH THIS ONE. I'M GLAD TO SEE BLACK FOLKS GETTING INTO READING [AND WRITING] SOMETHING. THIS IS A GOOD LOOK AND I HOPE IT CATCHES ON. BECAUSE MOST FOLKS DON'T TAKE TIME TO READ OR WRITE ANYTHING UNTIL THEY ARE DOING TIME.HENCE THE SAYING; "IF YOU WANT TO HIDE SOMETHING FROM A BLACK PERSON, PUT IT IN A BOOK."
I REALLY HOPE THIS CHANGES. AND NOW YOU KNOW WHY YOUR GRANDMOTHER HID MONEY IN HER BIBLE. LOL :SMH:
