Suck it up and welcome to the Music Industry. This happens all the time and is the main reason why REAL producers on the up and coming submit their music to artists and A&R's in person without giving them the actual beat untill a proposal/deal is made.

They broke there own compromise.

That way you can determine how much money that song generated. Radio stations, video distributors have to be contacted to find out, what number of rotations (airplay), did the song get. All this can be sighted as a pattern that establishes the gross percentage worth of that single to album sales. Interviews with witnesses have to be done, the overall research can take more than a year. Boogii Ent. wanted to make sure all the i's were dotted and t's were crossed, so they can maximize the dollar amount of their lawsuit. Just some info for aspiring artist. So you don't get jerked with your eyes wide open. Always include a paper trail when dealing with people in this industry. Because record label people are SHADY! Peace Fam!
