I agree that 75 million is not a lot of paper for such a well-known clothing line. split that in half for taxes leaves 32.5 and then take off another 15%-20% for operational expenses (workers, distribution, promotion, etc.) and then split the profits between 50 and Mark Ecko and one has to realize that this isn't a lot of money.

Wow. Most of the comments are just hate on the brand lol. Damn. I bought a piece a G-Unit clothing just to throw money into a black man's pocket. There is nothing wrong with supporting black businesses. Some people can't see past the hate to realize that it's a BLACK BUSINESS.

The HATE in this thread is something ugly. Some are just opinios, but others seem real emotional. Only thing I don't like about G-Unit cloths is the fact that they say G-Unit all over'em. The quality of his shit is pretty decent. Whatever the case he ain't hurtin either way. The nigga is dang near a billionare and I think that's where most of the hate is coming from so I guess he doing something right. If he wasn't doin shit niggas wouldn't waste a thought on the dude.

Hey touch26, just to clarify your math there on how profitable this venture really is for 50....you would never take taxes directly off the gross. You wouldn't assess income taxes until expenses, labor, materials, etc. were all deducted and you were left with a net amount. Let's say expenses roll out at 20%, which I think is even on the high side, given that he has backing from a billion-dollar company who obviously has a system in place to maximize profits, and really is only added an "additional logo" to their repertoire - since Ecko and G-Unit styles are the same. So 20% expenses takes away 15 mil, which leaves 60 to get split between the two owners. After 50 pays his 40% tax, on that he's left with 18 million profit for the year....I think that's worth his time to do nothing but plug a name into an already successful template and formula. Plus, remember...the more money you make, the easier it is for you to pay less taxes and learn the loopholes to maximize profits.
