IF THE STOCK MARKET WOULD CRASH your home wouldnt have anymore worth than the U.S. dollar would, remember are dollar is down right now and so is the property value.

The economy is driven by the interest rate (that is how much can be made off the dollar when its on loan.
and right now its low, so banks are less likely to loan money at a lower interest rate.

In other words they taxn that ass for the loot and the property value has dropped.

Oh and a global investment is a liquid investment.

just because he put his house up doesn't mean he's broke. Borrowing against your house is a good idea because the value of your house can grow. Cash isn't gonna grow, you give up almost 400k for bail today, you lost 400k dollars. If you borrow against your house, you might be able to recoup that in the future if your property value goes up.

Niggas put up houses all the time but it's not cause they are broke..it's cause that is the way the legal system requires it to be done. I dunno bout you home boy but i been out on bail for more serious charges than that and you CAN either put up your house as collateral OR call a bail bondsman and put up your house AND pay a 10-12% on it OR pay the WHOLE bond UP FRONT at the jail house...meaning if the judge tells you your bond is going to be 300 grand you're not payin a measly 12% to a bondsman (which would put you on the bondsmans pretrial terms drug testing check ins ect ect) you're going straight to the jail and paying the whole 300 grand cash money or whatever...my bond wasn't NEARLY as much as that but I paid mine straight up as to not be on pre trial release terms and what not and after paying it it took two hours for me to be released with no pretrial conditions. But to sum it all up if you PAY for the whole bond with cash there ain't no "putting up your property" no matter what the charge is the bond is paid there is no need for any collateral any more the only thing that needs to be done is making sure the jail or pretrial probation officer knows where you live and or work and a few of your closest kin or friends.

One thing real quick about bail/bond people. if you pay 10% of a bond of say 1mil. That means if you put up 10% of your BAIL (100k)a bonding company will step in and pay the other 90%(900k) in the form of a BOND to cover the costs of your BAIL(1mil). As all businesses, the bonding co makes it's money from your 10%(100K) cost which they keep as profit. The BAIL(1mil) is now paid in the form of a BOND "by" the bonding company to the courts. Then after all court proceedings and requirements are met, the entire bail money (1mil)is given back. Hence the extra 100k for the bonding company. THIS IS THE 10% RULE FOLKS!

Now to the 1% of the U.S. population who are millionares different rules apply.......(Ja,Lil Wayne,Busta,Trick Daddy,Your favorite rapper,actor,athelete)

These people put up the entire BAIL 100% because like stated before,"once all court obligations are the money is given back."
That means you get your SH*T back. Most importantly the middle man is eliminated w/this step. No boding company is involved because these certain type of individuals have the cash and or assests to cover the ENTIRE bail example(house,car,jewelry,stocks,cash,guns) anything of real certifiable value.

So in defense of Ja Rule if you have a $3.5 million dollar home, that is the way any and every lawyer is going to recomend to go. All you do is sign paperwork. Very smooth and easy. Basically you give the court the right to put a lein on your property for that amount "the bail". You don't have to give up any cash!!

AHH I've been on here watching people spead false information mostly out of ingorance (not knowing any better). I know the fact for a couple of reason...
1. I have been a victim of the system.
2. My fiancee works for an attorney.
3. My uncle has been a BAIL BONDSMAN for 20yrs.

So I'm just speaking on experience.

I don't agree with putting the house up for bail..getting a lien on ur house for such little money isn't a wise idea...I doubt Ja is broke so he should have had the money to drop the necessary 10 percents on these bails with no problem...That being said, I do give him credit for being a standup guy and trying to pay the other cats' bail...u got a lot of caked up rappers/entertainers in the past who have left their niggas high and dry in similar circumstances.
