It's taboo to "snitch" in the black community which I think is absolutely ridiculous.

There was once a beautiful girl named Brittani Idom, just 18 years old, college graduate. She was a cheerleader. She was shot in the head and killed recently in L.A.

Brittani wasn't even the target. Stupid gang bangers couldn't shoot straight and hit her instead of the dude they was after.

Now the whole hood know who did it. Not one person has come forward to tell. Mean while this poor babies momma is just sufferin. The bullet hit Brittani in the back of her head and came out through her eye.

"Stop snitchin." Fck that. I have no regards for "Skinny Suge" Thomas and Steve Willock. They part of the problem.

They deserve to rot in the bowls of prison. Let them experience what it's like to loose a loved one, have everybody know who did it, yet refuse to tell.

Some of the responses here just crack me up. I been in the streets, did dirt at one time, now im clear of all that. But here's my take on it. The stop snitchinline has been taken way out of context for the last couple of years. It was brought about to end the practice of cats getting caught up for the dirt they did, and then snitchin on a connect, homeboy, enemy etc. to reduce the time they had to serve. It had nothing to do with civilians witnessing a senseless act and the not reporting it. It was fukking idiots who adopted that line to terrorize their own community. Whats crazy is its dumb ass cats on this board that think that "Im in the streets Im getting money" etc. shit is cute and stay stupid shit like "Stop Snitchin" Real talk though, that lifestyle is a trap, all of it. I mean the story has been written over and over, nobody fukking wins. I dont mean to go all Joe Clark on everybody but when the hell are we going to wise up? I mean hell does our culture equate quality of life only with whips, cash, clothes? I'ma put it like this and leave it alone...

If innocent people are being hurt, murdered, robbed, and overall violated by criminals, then they ass need to be taken care of. Forget all that stop snitchin' bullshyt. The only time it applies is when someone decides they can't handle the burden of what they are involved with, and they decide to snitch or rat out their fellow criminals or partners in crime. Now THAT is a shame....

But then that can be called into question too, because if someone innocent is murdered, and someone else who knows of, or is a part of why that person is murdered or violated, rats on someone else, then so be it.

We as a people wonder why we are questioned as to our thought processes and issues with the law, but then we go and "cover up" issues that are obviously killing our communities...come on now...
