I think Gravy is a good choice. Chosing a more notable actor/rapper may have taken away from the script or the impact of the film. Gravy is not that recognized and they may allow a audience to get lost in the plot and not the actor, plus he's from BK he's probally got the swag dont pat.

Pac went to the School of the Arts in downtown Bmore ladies and gents. He was not, I repeat, NOT, a thug by any stretch of the imagination. I love Pac to death but people, lets not believe everything we hear on wax. Besides, Pac wasn't deified until AFTER he died.

Am I the only one that notices that Angela Basset always tends to play the role of black women who are famous/tied to famous people? She was: Michael Jackson's mother, Malcolm X' wife, Coretta Scott King, Tina Turner and now Biggie's mother.
