Something isn't right here... the first red flag was they released the story in their internet edition only..to test the waters..the other was the injection of James Sabatino. A known mob and FBI informant. Now we have this retraction from a fairly reputable LA Times and a Pulitzer Prize winner? What journalism standards and benchmarks are these guys operating under?? The death threats on P diddy and Rosemond were a bit much perhaps? We still have the immortal accusations of Pac in song and interviews fingering these two, and weren't Jimmy and Puffy and Andre (Harrell) there that evening at Quad? Nobody knew the goons downstairs in "fatigues" which is a brooklyn uniform and how did one of them get in? (calmly reading a newspaper waiting for Pac) Pac called Jimmy to say he was coming and Stretch who was rolling with pac did help set him up and was killed a year later.. And even if Big's 'Who shot ya" wasn't aimed at Pac it was a horrible decision to release that cut during those sensitive times.. So there!! Somebody's covering up and the rabbit hole just got a little deeper..

@asher..I hear you bruh but the problem with that tactic is it opens them up to libel lawsuits and no newspaper wants that.. legal fees alone can cripple them. I think they got the story mostly right the first time but due to the reaction from the tupac militia and the pressure put on those involved, the story had to then dissolve under the notion of forgery and fraud. The feds would rather not deal with an angry mob of 5 million black and white men (and women) asking questions or worse!! Power to the people..
