Reign In Blood was probably Slayer's best album. But Master of Puppets from Metallica is WAAAY better than that. Slayer had some white supremacist themes in some of their songs though.

what people don't realize today in this garbage filled recycle dumpster that is the music business (especially hiphop, yeah i said it) today, this album is to heavy metal fans as the chronic was to hip hop fans. this album defined metal in a new way, and metal was also played differently after this one. also, take a listen to public enemy's "she watch channel zero", and you can hear the guitar line from "angel of death" being sampled, AND one of the guitar players, Kerry King played solo on the beasties "no sleep til brooklyn".
so before you guys wave off this group/album as just a group who was at the right place at the right time, slayer did help in create some of hiphop's classic material that is still relevant (i got your attention now, huh) today.

1986 was to metal, the same way 88' was to hip hop. i agree on the white supremacist theme, but don't get it twisted, they didn't believe in that.

that shit wasn't white supremisct they talked about it as something that was wack. Anybody heard of the gravedigazz that was an amazing record and it was definitely influenced by slayer.
