If these accusations are true, so what? I've long heard that him and Jesse Jackson were about the dollar, but who isn't? I feel like everyone is entitled to their profit...even Al Sharpton. Ultimately, what's wrong with Al getting paid to be an advisor to some of those companies; is he supposed to do it for free? How would he eat if he just marched and boycotted and campaigned and never got paid for his contributions to activism? $25,000 a year??? That ain't shit! As for the threats...come on now, Al Sharpton doesn't have enough money, power, respect, or credibility to carry out threats to those corporate giants, so why would he make them?
