Other than Alicia Keys showing love to the fine lovely ladies of Envouge, SWV,TLC & Al Green w/ a good performance,
Maxwell re-appearing out of thin air & having a good performance, Bun & Pimp winning an award this award show and the BEAUTIFUL Laren London(She's bad). IMO it was nothing much but the usual Rapping & Tapping, Shuckin & Jivin Buffornery live performance. I don't know if it's the fact that I'm geting older (30) but Hip-Hop award shows are starting to become embarassing and hard to watch now. I understand Hip-Hop is culture as a whole but this stuff is geting out of hand.

I was hoping for UGK & Wayne to win due to them both being so DESERVING!
Big Ups 2 Kanye West As well.

-As Far as performances, Young Jeezy, Ludacris &
T-Wayne Saved the Show for me!
-I was bobbin my head to the Nelly "Stepped on my J's" but no one likes a rushed performance.
-Alicia Keys had the right idea with the groups from the 90's. Cuz usually I watch her performances just to see her body & not for the music. LOL
-Keyshia Cole on the other hand had a good performance & a GREAT Body! LOL
-Ciara & Chris Brown had it goin. They pretty much the best male & female dancers of this New School.
-Everybody else was ok, its pretty much a blur from there.

I enjoyed seeing the cast of Boyz In The Hood, I think Cuba was on that shit though. LOL

In my opinion the show was solid, it wasnt so one sided like the previous years.

Overall Rating 8/10

i watched the awards & all the performers were pretty good.D.L Hughley was a lil awkward Monique was a lot better.Usher did pretty good for an opening act hes starting to get his moves back on point.the lip singing kinda was wack but he did do a lot of dancin so its understandable.Neo had the overall best performance he was on point with all the moves.Alicia was a class act im not feelin that Teenage Love Affair song but bringing out SWV,TLC & ENVOGUE was a good look.
T Pain is a fool his circus act was very creative.he said he was the ring leader of this shit.i gotta say T Pain did assist on someof the best joints released lately.Maxwell sounded better than Al Green himself did.i got a new respect for Maxwell might cop a fewof his cds.Reverand Al Green went old school on em had me & everybody feelin good.
Im glad they honored Quincy Jones for his humanitarian effort.Q seem like a real humble cat.Chris Brown was a little dry untill Ciara came out in that sexy outfit & worked them hips.Nelly seem to be trying too hard plus i dont like his new joint.Jeezy was cool he need something harde than that joint he performed think i would have rather heard him do a remix of all his hits.Rhiana seemed like she didnt put any effort into her performance but i do like the song she did.
Last & definately least Lil Wayne proved why he is very overated.seems hes trying to push the joint he got with T Pain which feels like a strip club song to me.Lolipop sonds better on the radio not performing because he cant really sing.A Millie was pounding tho ill give him props on that.im glad Kanye won best artist tho.kinda thought with all the Wayne hype he would have snatched that one.

Al Green!!!! by far the best performance of the night. Me & my dad was groovin in the living room. Chris Brown & Ciara killed ushers entire performance with 2 minutes of dancing!!!! I really liked that performance. Ne-Yo's performance was perfection & i dont even like that song...not feeling that teenage love affair song but i damn near lost my mind when i seen swv!! wasnt a riri fan till tonight, i like that song....
Usher????? lip syncin??? not a good look booboo...hanging w/tameka is makin u old B...i was dissappointed

but still the best awards show of the year!!!! lol @ DL calling marvin sapp warren sapp....hilarious
