i just get the feeling hes exploiting the minds of blind rappers who are also in turn exploting the pain and suffering of americas black ghettos to make their money and play the gangster roll when they are not even real to themselves.

i dont know to me it just seems like another stupid attempt with an idea that is neither needed or probably wanted to get money from rappers who have more money than sense.

and to answer your question about the black man. id say hes helping people (payday loans) and giving them something they want (liquor).

a hip hop entrepenuer creating an exclusive charter jet service aimed at rap artists just seems like another idea from the 'people up top' to exploit these guys and get yet more money from them. the money they made in the first place from getting paid by these guys to glorify crime and killing within the black community.

I see where you coming from and I respect your opinion, but I have to respectfully disagree with you.

I see no problem with this at all. If Rifkind wants to do this and cater to the people who can afford it then why not? If it was Jay doin this everyone would be like "he doin it big, that's what's up." I don't see the difference between this and someone starting an expensive ass clothing line or advertising shit to us that they know most of us can't afford.

but what you say last of all is part of the reason why i see this as exploitation and just a money maker.

its no secret that rappers when they get their hands on money (there is exceptions to the rule jay-z, puffy etc) blow it away on ridiculous things that are cleverly marketed into the 'gangsta persona' by those above to get back their money. its a vicious cycle.

LOL! @ LTBROWN-In what parallel universe do you live in where it is cheaper to buy a plane than to charter one? After the initial investment of SEVEN FIGURES (this is a plane we're talking about), you have to pay for storage at an airport, staff, and fuel by the hundreds of gallons. Or at the very least, you have to pay a service a whole lot of money to handle all that for you. A round trip charter from New York to Los Angeles for a weekend costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $30k. Five or six of those trips cost $150k-$180k. Think you can buy a jet with that? See, when you start off a paragraph with "If a person really looks into it...", it implies that you have, and obviously you haven't. That's the only problem with free speach; it doesn't have to be based in reality or common sense.

I'm going to co-sign with KST2G and respectfully disagree with Shifty_UK. I understand where you are coming from, but I think you are missing some important points. Everyone in entertainment is NOT: a) Black or underpriveleged, b) a rapper, or c) broke. Entertainers make a lot of money, and Steve Rifkind has experience and success with building brands. Who's getting exploited?
