The last I heard, Taco Bell WANTED to work with him..........I don't think they actually used his music, likeness, or anything else that would give him the grounds to sue them. The story I read said that they contacted 50 and pitched the idea to him. He, allegedly, got all bitchy about the idea and said he was going to sue them ( but for what?....pitching an idea? ). From what's being said Taco sent out a 'fake' new release to say he was changing his name. The name is trademark.

Also to all you wanna be rappers. He trademark the name, not the record company, most rappers names are trademark, but the record comapny holds that trademark and not the rapper.

I highly respect his business sense, it's good to see anyone without a formal education find success in the business world.

I doubt he'll have a 'defamation' case, just maybe a trademark one for using his moniker in an ad. Someone said they work for Taco, not sure if they work at corporate headquarters, though
