lol Yea you have a good point about covering world wide news, I mean this is supposed to be ALLhiphop anyway and hiphop is for all people... but I don't think that would mean they would report any and every type of news world wide that involves people in the struggle because hiphop is about more than just that. Well I guess the next question is who determines what "news" gets posted on AHH? What are "hip hop" stories and what aren't? Just goes to show you that ALL news sites are bias in some way, shape and form.

The presidential election gets mentioned on here every now and then but politics isn't hip hop. It only gets mentioned on here because Obama is black--if it was two white guys running as usual no one would be on here talking about it.

So is this a "hip hop" site or a "black issues" site? I don't think the people who run AHH even know the answer to that question.

nah man, i'm egyptian-american by all means. born in brooklyn, raised in jersey.

from what i know hiphop is huge out there and they listen to the usual high profile international acts such as jay-z,snoop and i guess akon but thats about it. i heard some arabic hiphop, its not bad.

how bout this info, hiphop apparently listens to arabic music because the big pimpin beat...that exact beat was on a song in egypt that was released in the late 70's. the beat on big pimpin wasnt even sampled, its the exact same beat. the original song is on my zune.

so much for royalties, eh.

im not against the story or isiah washington and what he as done at all. im a writer/journalist/editor and this is a valid question. what determines what gets put on this site and what doesn't.

i'm not disputing every article but i'd like to see some consistency. i'm not the one that has said this is and only is a hiphop website but with every article/news/interview i read on here they always begin with how this subject relates to hiphop so its not me its allhiphop that relates everything to hiphop but then nonchalantly throws in a story that has nothing to with hiphop.
