Well maybe Tim went in too soon on that info...like before Jay decided for sure or before he had a chance to communicate with Kanye and Just. Plus, Kanye being the hater that he is, he probably gave J tracks that were undeniable. I say hater because of some insider industry stuff that you'd need to be inside to know, lol. But one thing that is documented is Kanye's attempt to get Brandy to let him produce her whole last album while Tim had already signed on.

That kind of stuff happens ALL the time folks. At least Kanye dont being trying to play the humble cause he's def not that.

They have good musical synergy, but Kanye provides that cohesive balance of soulful/energetic/creative/cross-over that I don't think Timb can bring for an entire album. Timb said in an interview that he is somewhere else with the type of shit he wants to produce nowadays. I don't think Jay is looking for that Timberlake, Nelly Furtado..."hey technology" type shit for his album. It makes for good club joints, but the streets and hip hop heads will gravitate away from it. If you're looking to put together a potentially classic hip hop album, who you gonna get Kanye or Timb? Nothing against Timb, but Ye kills him in that arena....IMO.

Can somebody please tell me what was so wack about The Blueprint 2? I don't even get why people don't like vol. 1 (besides two songs). The only questionable album in Jiggas Discography is Kingdom Come and thats just because he was spitting about shit we couldn't relate to.
