It really is sad how whenever a woman files some kind of complaint against a rapper we automatically take the rapper's/male's side. The first thing people start doing is calling her names. Why can't she be given the benefit of the doubt. For every woman who falsifies a police report there are 30 more who tell the truth and nobody listens. Furthermore people talking about how Shaq can get any woman he wants, like they're a quarter-water juice, and not an actual human being. Sure Shaq may be a big sports star but that doesn't mean every woman wants him and that he can have any woman he wants. Women aren't objects meant to be "had" they are humans meant to be cared for and loved. And more importantly why can't Shaq be crazy, I'm sure if you've read Karrine Steffans book you've heard about the odd stuff he does. I'm not saying Shaq is innocent or guilty because I wasn't there. But what I will say is that we need to stop disrespecting women and making them merely objects of sexual desire, ridicule, or servitude. Just when things started to get all peachy again with Shaquille and Shaunie, some chick (who claims she’s an Atlanta hip hop artist called Mary Jane) named Alexis Miller is accusing Shaquille of threatening her. Apparently they had an affair and he threatened her “career” if she told anyone. According to TMZ:

Alexis Miller, an Atlanta hip hop artist who goes by Mary Jane, just got a restraining order against Shaquille O’Neal, alleging he threatened to hurt her and harassed her with heavy-breathing over the phone. Miller claims they had an affair and that when it ended, Shaq threatened he’d wreck her career if she told anyone.

According to court docs Shaq wrote her one email that reads, “I dnt no who the fuk u think u dealin wit u will neva be heard from one phone call is all I gotta make no try me. Sho me.”

O’Neal is scheduled to appear before a judge on Sept. 4.

Sigh. Why am I not surprised at all? Damn shame.

It really is sad how whenever a woman files some kind of complaint against a rapper we automatically take the rapper's/male's side. The first thing people start doing is calling her names.
