She doesn't show up for the 2nd interview! Real talk. She claims she got lost trying to find the building where the interview was to take place. Keep in mind she already came into the offices for her first interview, and although the second "round" was in a different building, she could have stopped in THIS office to figure out where to go. Nah, she just went home. You know how messed up that is? Now I don't even wanna throw nobody at HR for a while to let that cool down. She may have messed it up for who knows how many other people.

Dude, these artists are NO different. Look at Pac. Whoever the dude was who got his chain snatched at that mall shouldn't have involved Pac in that BS. Game shouldn't have been employing incompetent niccahs to be on Wallstreet.

I'm not gonna dig on it any further. All I'm saying is folks have to WANT what these artists have to offer. I would implore people to do what they need to do to be prepared for success. They look hard enough, they can get whatever it is they are looking for LEGALLY...but they have to WANT it.

As for giving to the community...

Many of them do that. The real question is what are WE doing to fix our own communities (i.e. the teachers, lawyers, doctors, etc, etc....).

Those "other" communities don't have the same issues because they take care of from within'. They don't even EXPECT no superstars or whomever to give back to them. They expect those famous people to put their money in their alma maters, or high schools, or programs they were in (Girl's Club, Boy's Club, etc...).

All I'm saying is we all (myself included) need to look in the mirror, not to these celebrities...they ain't role models...:)

re: Rappers Join Russell Simmons To Address Economy

@Gawgabwoy - Oh....

Real quick too...

75% of the music these niccahs is making is being bought by white people in the suburbs too. Real talk! WE only support like 25% of hip-hop with our $$$.

Wouldn't be surprised if that number hasn't shrunk even more, because we burn/bootleg everything nowadays...

Just saying...

re: Rappers Join Russell Simmons To Address Economy

Joe Buddens and his Wifey(Phat Ass) http://www.atlnightspots.com/2008/10/02/joe-buddens-and-girlfriend/

re: Rappers Join Russell Simmons To Address Economy

@NewWest - Yeah, apparently it sold for $7 million?

I think i read that here on this site...

What's up with the rumors? Exactly, it would make a difference if we were working for them in some capacity and even when we do work for them we get the fucked up treatment..Look at JD, Jay, and Diddy's employees complaints about not getting paid..

re: Rappers Join Russell Simmons To Address Economy

I believe that people in the urban community are unaware of how major of an impact on their lives this could be, so I do support them making a statement and addressing this to those who look up to them and will actually listen.

*******FREE ALBUM DOWNLOAD*******
Rayne Storm - The Unkrowned King (Remastered Edition)

re: Rappers Join Russell Simmons To Address Economy

yo alot of yall on here are some negative muthafuckers i bet half of yall walk around with your life savings in your pocket fronting like yall got it like that

 Daily Recap - 10/2/08 at SNICKA.com

PingBack from http://snicka.com/blog/2008/10/02/daily-recap-10208/

re: Rappers Join Russell Simmons To Address Economy

The first thing some rappers can do is stop showing and talking about the wasting of money in their songs and videos. Take 65% of your money out of banks. Invest it in TREASURY BILLS, GOLD, SILVER AND SWISS FRANKS. Buy dehydrated foods, Berkey water filter, gallons of distilled water and a first aid kit. Don't forget ammo, a semi automatic 45 caliber and a good rifle with a scope. (30.6 will do) Get a Bible or Koran or whatever spiritual text that comforts you. These negroes won't tell you this. Including dumb, flashy rappers. You have less than a year to get it together. Yes, I am a proud alarmist and have been preparing for these times since 1992.
