Incredible. I don't see how anyone can pull negativity from this. I really believe that he accomplished what he was trying to do with T.I. vs. T.I.P. and it was just executed much much better. He did the superlyrical songs that underground heads are gonna just have to respect. He had the real hood stuff on there for folks that like that. And he did the pop stuff so he could sell hella records. Plus he outrapped 3 of the hottest rappers out right now on an amazing song. It all worked perfectly. Congrats, T.I.P.!

First and foremost I gotta give T.I. his props. He's been one of my favorite rappers since I'm Serious. I'm glad he's on top of the game.

With that said, I gotta speak on how I feel about this whole N.O. vs. ATL stuff. I'm from New Orleans.... 17th ward... Hollygrove to be exact. I don't care what anybody says, Master P put the South on the map and opened doors for all of these cats now doing their thang. Yeah Outkast put it down as well as others like UGK and Geto Boys, but dudes up North wasn't bumpin Outkast.... they was bumpin that Bout It Bout It and Ice Cream Man. Even Jim Jones sampled that joint.

On to this street stuff. I now live in Houston because of Katrina and let me tell you.... we straight ran this city and ATL after Katrina. Not saying that violence is something to brag about, but we were disrespected openly by a lot of people because of our situation. We were called refugees, Katrina Scum and other stuff when we were just lookin for shelter. Dudes were cool at first, but then we got fed up and started buckin back. Now of course you had ya cats who was fighting for drug territory, but that's got nothing to do with the N.O. vs. Houston or ATL, that's bout money. I can't tell you how many dudes who were so called "street cats" in Houston and ATL, but got ran by them boys from New Orleans. Ask dudes in Southwest Houston who ran Sharpstown mall after Katrina. And listen to "Ready for Whatever" on T.I. CD. He even talk about N.O. cats killin out there in Atlanta. I had love for a lot of those cats in the H and ATL and for the most part I still do. But to quote my nig Pimp C, there was a lot of hating going on because those 504 boyz came down without a penny to their name and was beastin all their chicks and puttin in work. Now like I said only a fool would label a whole city as lame and I'm no fool. So if you got love for my city, then I got love for you. But to those fcuk boys who was downing us because of our situation, you got what you deserved.

It's wild in the N.O. and the stuff ya'll complaining about after Katrina, we grew up with our whole life. it's every man for himself in the N.O. That stuff B.G and Souljah Slim was rappin bout is real. And to my ATL cats, I'm glad ya'll city poppin right now and reppin the South. But real talk, ya'll city is looked at as the gay capital. I was out there last month and there were more dudes wearing purses than chicks in Lennox Mall. But hey, I guess that means more chicks for the straight cats because ya'll got some of the baddest chicks I've ever seen!
