There is a recession and if we are not careful there will be a depression. People need to be living at their means instead of above them. Bill Gates is a multi-billionare and he is living in a 6 million dollar house. If he can do it anybody can. But Wyclef also has alot of luxury cars too. Does he really need all that? Wish him the best and hopefully he learns from this situation. He is a great producer and from what I hear, his beats don't come cheap.

Fuck all this recession shit. I got love for Wyclef and I'm not judging the situation, but like someone else said, all these people in the industry be frontin and trying to live above there means. I just shake my head at people who get money and run go get a mortgage when they can just pay for a whole damn crib one time.
If I 10 mill, the most I'm spending on a crib is like 500-800,000, a benz and a truck, or no more that a 120k in vehicles. Thats a little over a mill and change. That leaves me with damn near nine mill that I'm flippin.

Say I only came across 1 mill, I look at it like I can live off 5 grand a week for 4 years, and that's if I just spend don't make no money. Anyone can still ball out and live comfortable off 5 grand a week. So I just don't understand why rich people go broke. If shit ain't going as planned, adjust you damn spending habits!

I definitely agree with that. Rich niggas don't need good credit scores, at least on their personal credit. If you have a corporation or LLC which cost like 125 dollars to establish and get tax id number, basically it's like creating a whole new person. You can establish credit, purchase a vehicle, a crib after a certain amount of time and you can write all that shit off as company expense. You basically don't have to put shit in your name, protecting you from lawsuits and the government or IRS can't take your shit because its not actually your shit, it belongs to the "company" that you are an "employee" for. And if for some reason, your company gets sued and your company owes a lot of money that either you can't pay or not trying to pay, like Donald Trump and a lot of these other rich white people, file for bankruptcy, start a new corporation or LLC and get a whole new tax id number and start over.

I don't think you guys understand what he just did. The mansion is property of the corporation that is owned by more than one person, so it's not in his name. Letting the mansion foreclose won't hurt him because the banks can't take more than what the LLC is worth. All his personal assets are intact. Learn a little something about business before making comments....
