I used to listen to UGK when the Menace II Society soundtrack came out.. The Geto Boys were way better than UGK.. Hello, Mr. EddieDollars;

Thanks for the feedback. Man, they be hattin' on Frosty, tryin melt down my hustle. But on the real, I try to bring the cold truth.

Listen, I will admit some of my expressions are hard, but so is a prison bed. I also admit some of my words are cold, but so is a coffin.

Real talk, Hip-Hop is supposed to ENTERTAIN, ENLIGHTEN, UPLIFT and EXAMINE the topics of the day, like the Temptations or James Brown or Curtis Mayfield.

Hip-Hop has been taken over by drug dealers, read some of those links above and undercover cops who encourage them (rappers to do wrong) Like that incident with TI, that undercover FED set TI up and scared him into buying guns after his boy was killed.

And the big labels tell artist to do stupid things like get caught with a gun at the airport (Young Joc). Or shoot people, like Gucci Mane. Real talk. I just want to let the kids know, these DRUG DEALERS, MURDERERS and RAPIST (like Mystical) and the ones who beat woman and pimp them are not heroes and should not be looked up to.

Listen up, a real talented kid like Lupe can't make it without somehow associating himself with drug dealers, and look what happened to him. That poor kid didn't have a chance. The drug dealer rappers ate him alive with hate talk because he was trying to be positive and the feds took down his 1st & 15th entertainment which was set up to launder their drug money, even though Lupe really wanted to make music.

You see how this works. Those poor kids can't catch a break. They can't get a pro-tools rig or studio time without these drug dealers and the dealers and murderers have taken over the industry.

And dirty cops, like Rick Ross (AKA Detective Roberts) set them up to do even more crime, like Max B. This is serious because it is effecting our youth. We need to raise more Obamas, not more drug dealers. I want to make it clear, I love HIP-HOP, but the criminals who have paid their way in and the dirty mother labels who have told our kids it is good to sell drugs, murder, rape and rob are not right.

I understand some of the rappers had that life, but come on, everybody with a mic was a drug dealer? Really guys, rap about something else. Every record is this...

1. I am and was a drug dealer.

2. I am a pimp.

3. I love myself.

4. I love my boy.

Come on guys, pick up a Curtis Mayfield album and make some fucking music for the people. Everybody is not a drug dealing, rapist, murderer who hats woman. We can't identify with this shit and you are teaching our kids to be so messed up, hell, even Dre's son took his own life because he saw the shit first hand.

Damn, now I know why shit happens. This site can be so damn disrespectful and the funny thing about opinions we do all have them like asshole but all asshole aren't created equal. After saying that I will say this. the ignorance is over whelming about what UGK have accomplish. First off maybe the people with one track minds and no sense of art would only know of UGK through Jigga, which Pimp C didn't want to do but because of his partner Bun B he did it and second how you going to call this group lame when they showed mostly everybody how to get that scrill w/o the support of you major label. The real hip hop head waited on ugk for years to drop and in the mist of waiting on them droppin their own album they was on everybody album for 5 years straight underground on commerical in the streets, where shit is real no matter how you feel, all you heard was ugk!
Even while we were waiting on their album to drop you could of put out a double album off their guess appearences alone. Everybody is entitle to say what they think but that shit don't be fact it be emotional bullshit, which messed up the game with lames in the first place. I hope the haters that's dissing the real aren't in the field of making music because you done already lost. Not to mention that Pimp c did most of the production for most of their work including other people on the west coast and down south, dude was a legend in his own right and Bun b already proved he can hold his own. The difference between you and them is that they got major talent for the industry says so and they are legends. WHAT YOU DOING!!! besides hating.

I usually don't care for posthumous releases (Biggie's "Born Again" , Big L's "The Big Picture", Big Pun's "Yeaaah Baby" or the 20+ Tupac releases that followed Makaveli)... always old lyrics mix-matched w/new beats. But if they follow the 'don't fix what ain't broke' UGK formula, the new joint should sound as good & timeless as "Ridin Dirty" or "Too Hard to Swallow"
