I feel what ur saying. As for the hating thing, I think what makes a comment cross over into hating is when it's not about the music. Saying you just don't like his music and won't buy it is fine. Even commenting on it's social commentary is still cool. But it's when people feel the need to speak on the person's character or intelligence level ( like they really know the person ) to me is when it crosses over into hating. Example: "I don't like his music and he's and idiot for making it." That's that bullshit right there...lol. Don't like the music? Fine. But so many of us feel the need to slight the person. And in this case, Plies does catch a lot of personal attacks. Like so many people have said here, if you don't like it, don't fuck with it. That is so damn simple. I hear people saying it's sad that he "acts" this way. Why? Why is his music act any different from Tom Cruise or and other actor? Because our people expect anyone on the public eye to be a spokesperson for Black Culture as a whole and it's not being done the way we think it should be, then it's a problem. But then we don't support the artist that do meet our standards of imaging. We can be some real "funny" acting people......
