For all you people asking about Detox, this has nothing to do with Detox. Read the article again. "The Chronic Re-Lit" will be released by WIDEawake/Evergreen with no involvement by Dr. Dre himself. It's just like any other album released by Death Row after the artist has already left the label, i.e. Snoop Dogg "Dead Man Walkin". So the release of this project should in no way delay the already delayed release of Detox.
I am looking forward to hearing some unreleased 'Pac shit though, as long as it's good quality. Maybe one out of five songs put out since his death have been on par. Hopefully no corny guest appearances.

I thought that there was some agreement between Afeni and Death Row regarding Pac's music....if so, then there is still a chance that much of the supposed thousands of unrealeased 2Pac tracks may never see the light of day.

Its a good time to make this move tho, ol skool, mainly 80's, samples are hot right now, Flo rida has 2, Karl Wolf, Divine Brown - its jussa matter of time before that early 90's sound is hot again.

But they prolly gon fuck up the whole catalogue by tryin to make the music sound contemporary anyway.

Maybe the original Death Row members didnt buy it because of the sticky situation with Suge Knight. I know Suge aint shit now, but I dont think that any of them original artists want the headache that is Suge, that is sure to, one way or another, come along with the catalogue.

Maybe they will release Pac's music by 2 disc album, one disc original beats and appearances, the other disc all up to date beats and appearances.
