lol I've been too many places but though America is pretty cool it's not the best country...

low minimum wages, no booze till 21 while at the same time you can drive and join the army at the age of 16, gun shops which allow everybody to go virgina tech on anybody anytime, white boys acting like bitches when it comes to girls, poor healthcare and education (compared to other western countries, of course it is still wayyy better than third world countries). Good post-secondary education (college) only accessible to people with money. Foreigners at Mc Donalds/Subway/Burger King (etc.) that are nearly impossible to understand (don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against foreigners, I'm a foreigner myself but fucking hell if you gonna ask what I want to order then at least be able to talk english clearly). You got christian religious groups going crazy about gay-movements in California while at the same time their God gave everybody free will to do whatever they wanted, so it's kinda hypocritical.

The good things though are that it's cheap, they got a big range of diversified products which they sell which arent available in other countries. They got the best hip hop music, best sneaker stores, the people are nice (most of the time). Prob. some other stuff as well but there isn't anything that comes to mind at the moment...

Absolutely, I've worked in youth development with black and brown kids that looks just like you and I from the hood for many years so I definitely know. I'm just saying you're original statement was that they need to take care of homebase first and the truth is that most of the people that went over there like M-1 have been taking care of stuff right here too, dude is just not a media hog and doing it for promotion so a lot of people don't hear about it.

@ liquidswords95 - thanks man, I'm just continuing to what I can to affect the kids I can. Some people just talk about what's happening in our hoods but I want to do what I can to be actively involved in solutions. We can all do something in our cities even if it's finding a few kids just mentor.
