Lupe Fiasco has eluded the limelight for quite sometime since his last album, The Cool. Now, the Chicago rapper presents Hip-Hop fans another reason to be grateful on Thanksgiving Day.

Although, he’s been out of the commercial realm, true fans know that the rapper has increased the output of music recently. The intensity has increased as well, a shift evident on Lupe Fiasco’s Enemy of the State: A Love Story.

The mixtape has Lupe spitting over songs Timbaland, Drake, Slaughterhouse, The Clipse and offers a much appreciated rock sensibility as well.

This is merely the beginning. Lupe has already revealed a Christmas day mixtape entitled Friend of the People, which will undoubtedly be an appreciated gift on a day of giving.
