BUT the brother keeps it consistently fresh. The only others that can do that is The Roots (collectively) and Andre 3000. He's been feeding the same album every go round and the funny thing is the better he gets at presenting the material the shorter the album becomes, but that right there is the beauty of it all. It doesn't take him 20+ tracks to get your head involved and your neck rocking. First song he's going from 0-60mph from the go and it's straight cruise control till the last note of the album. Certified.

re: Common: Finding Forever

I will cop this 4 sure. It's a shame with techno i can cop the album for nothin i should buy it just out of respect to common. Fuck it imma buy the album out of respect to common being one of the few real emcees out there. This may piss off a few ppl but common sense is a million times better than jay-z. Common looks at the world while jay-z's got it stuck up his own ass guy always chattin self proclaimed best, king and what not reasonable doubt is a sick album but i aint heard a real tune from jay-z in time. Listen to umbrella-a-a-a-a-a "we fly higher than weather........" with his gold shoes man he's sendin hip hop the wrong way for me while common is sendin it the=right way. Sorry but it had to be said cos no-ones got the balls to say jay-z's gone to commercial money done fucked up his brain

re: Common: Finding Forever

This was a good review. I hear so many people crying like myself about how garbage hip hop is now days. I say we all link up (those who care about what music is) and make a stand on this BS thats out there. I know there are millions of brothers and sisters out there who can spit beautiful life lifting music as common, roots, and the likes. I just got back to the states last year and man hip-hop is sad. I truly believe if we as great music lovers started speaking as one we came make a change. Please hit me up if you feel me. I dont know where want to take this, but I want to take it from where it is.
