Great article.. Very well deserved.. This has the potential to be a great series. This could have gone on forever with his library of releases... And he is still doing the damn thing.... No one Producer is the G.O.A.T. they all contribute to the game that is Hip Hop.... But we should def appreciate all of them for their contributions... I would def label Primo the God Father of Hip Hop fundamentals... He is an Ill DJ and a better Producer.. It gets no better....

Yo, I met primo one time in Fat Beats in NYC. I was standin next to him on the side where the got the classics.

Not the side where they have the new stuff and I noticed it was him and screamed like a chick.

I snatched up an Afura rekkid I already had and I asked him to sign it.

He did and told me Tommy Boy was all fucked up for the handling of the DITC album.

Group Home's Livin Proof album/instrumentals should have been Nas entire second (It Was Written) album...

That would have outdone Nas's illmatic cd.....The only song I would have kept the same on Nas's second album was If I Ruled The World with Lauren Hill......

Why do people always mention Dre, when he is constantly accused of the same thing Puffy does, signing his name to beats that are concocted by other producers. So if you list Dre as top 10 then Puff should be there too. I ain't never heard anyone say that Primo, Pete Rock, Large Professor, etc took credit for a beat that they didn't make.
