Straight up, I have to agree with you. I was listening to some of the tracks on the weekend. I just couldnt stop rewinding the tracks. Its refreshing to listen to music that artist is not only talking about blowing out some one's brains. Kanye is what the rap game NEEDS creativty. What happened to all of the creative artist, maybe its the pressure of the music industry. Im tired of the sell you crack,blow out your brain and im with 2 hoes rap's. The album is cool. I'm not feeling it like the other two but there are some strong tracks (Big Brotha, Champion etc) But I hate that drunk girl s**t.

This sure isn't worth being called a "Classic" but maybe people want to lable it that because so much bs has been put out lately.

Big up to Kanye for putting out 3 straight strong albums from the gate. Not even Nas, "Big Brotha" Jay-Z, Snoop or Cube has done that.

Like the reviewer said, who cares about record sales. If Kanye doesn't sell as much as 50 Gimmicks it won't really matter because we all know that end of the day you'll be listening to Kanye's album much longer than 50's. There are a bunch of 50's in the rap game to day but there's only one Kanye. No one else in the rap game who can do as much as Ye. And he shows growth on every album. Unlike 50 who basically says the same thing all the time. If you want a typical rap album than you should cop 50 Gimmicks albums. If you want to listen to something new and refreshing, you should go and cop Kanye's album.

The same cats that commented on 50's album sayin' it's soft are over here talkin' about growth and maturity for Kanye's album and this shit is damn near alternative. It's hot but stop with the 50 hatin'. Most of the cats on here praisin' Kanye right now are just hatin' on 50. You couldn't even spit one verse from "College Dropout" that wasn't on a single. With that being said, I think Graduation is hot but it's like 2 steps from being classic. It's almost too laid back. If he would've put one more upbeat track(along the lines of the beat he did for "Encore") on here, it could easily be considered classic. 4/5

I've been reading some of y'alls comments and some of them are downright retarded. Honestly, you can't compare 50 & Kanye. Why? It's apples and oranges. They are only compared b/c they are both rappers. Most notably, that they both happen to have album that have them same release date. I like 50. I like Kanye. Yes, 50's Curtis release is not as stellar as GRODT or Massacre, but Ye's album is not as good as his two previous either. I found that Graduation at times was a little too experimental at times (maybe that's just being able to think out the box), but if you use the formula of releasing limited amount tracks on your album (i.e Illmatic or Be) they all better be unquestionably hot. 50 on the the other hand, gives you want you typically expect from 50, aggressive, hard hitting, street music. Let me ask you this?
Let's say 50 had a ghostwriter and he rapped about the same stuff Kanye rapped about and had a similar production style.....Would you still like 50? Most of y'all, as you still do would say: "50 changed, he's not the same, blah, blah, blah"
I think I drawing to a point somewhere between all of rambling.
Bottom Line: Kanye's album is not as hot as some you claim it to be. I'll tell you straight up I am biased towards 50's albums, but I
listen to everything out there. Why don't you compare Kanye's album to Talib's Ear Drum (which is somewhat in the same vein) BTW Ear Drum is better than Graduation aswell. Cuuuuuurtis all day you fickle hip hop fans tha minds are controlled by people who tell you what to like.

No matter how many records Sh*tty sells he will never be considered a dope lyricist and gimmicks can’t make him a better rapper. Might he outsell Ye? He might but remember, Vanilla Ice outsold Brand Nubian, Kool G. Rap, and Big Daddy Kane combined yet he will never be considered a dope MC so sales really don’t mean that much.

Listen to flashing lights, Kanye gets off on that track, and Champion is ridiculous also, yall might want to check out the group he sampled the hook from "Steely Dan" they got some serious songs.

Overall, this album is lyrically killing everything out there. Kanye help Common put together another banger, but he put his foot in this LP. This will be like Reasonable Doubt, College Dropout, and Ready To Die in my book, i will be bumping this when my son is 20.

What’s crazy is at the end of Big Brother, listen how excited Kanye sounds about DJ Toomp’s production. That is respect for an ATL legend.

i honestly listened to both 50 and ye album no one can front on i get money but kanye album is at least a 4.5 out of 5

50s is a 3-3.5 at most

You people have got to be kidding me major money mafia hit the nail on the head both these albums and i heard them both are not good! stop trying to hype up shit that is not worth hyping up. jay and 50 played everyone on this shit and both guys will now sell way more then they should both these albums are under par for both artists. i will buy 50's though because he has 6 banging tracks but i hate his new method of make a few tracks each for different fans. either make a totally gay album with all the whack collaborations or make a get rich with nothing but heat which everyone knows he can do. i can't knock the hustle cause it will get him paid but i hate buying an album for 6 tracks. he claims before i self destruct will follow the get rich formula we'll see.

after listening to the full album snippets i will not be buying kanyes album.. it is way to boring for my tastes... his rhymes are sub par.. how can they even compare him to fifty lyrically.. i will say that kanye is a better producer than 50

Fif's album is only hot because of Dr.Dre the #1 Producer of all time!!!! What an awful album....only thing good about it is the singles thrown out into the radio play....beats are good but the lyrics and his voice sound gay....

Big Brother....WTF is that shit....and also the song with T-Pain...Good Life...I thought there was a rumoour that T-Pain was singing some gay shit on his album...Plus i hate T-Pains voice that echos or whatever is used in the studio to make that ridiculous echo sound...

On a second listen i appreciate his album wayy more...(he aint NAs wit da flow)...His hooks & lryrical concepts are where you have to appreciate his work on this album...he could have added about 3 more tracks and i woulda been very satisfied.. I picked up both cd's,

I must say Kanye killed this one!! This is his best, most complete body of work out of all three cd's. Kanye music is just hot.

50's cd is decent he got 12 out of 17 tracks, that are nice, but even with his all-star cast of featured artist, it still doesnt compete with kanye's Cd.

Looks like Kanye will be laughing straight to the bank!!

That was an awesome performance....Look at all the shades given out to everyone...Imagine how many CDs he has given out to advertise his album....I swear there is atleast 20,000+ 25,000+ people at that free show....FREE SHADES, FREE CDs....

That is amazing promotional advertising for his album to do this....Id like to get a chance to see some video footage of the 50 Cent promotion to see who actually does better shows...

These two guys have money to blow around so they can spend as much as they want buying there own albums and giving them out as promotional copies...
