there are some hot tracks on this album but it isnt the WU we know and love. the beats are a little too diverse and with the exception of ghost and meth. everyone else seems uninspired and outdated. cappadonna is garbage as usual, raekwon shines sporadically, no ODB. masta killa, inspecah deck and gza are basically lyrical filler and who ever cared about U-God. all in all its not traditional WU-tang but its still better and more inspired and imaginitive then 85% of the garbage you hear today.

@Code....damn..u stole a lot of my words..lol. It's not a bad album on a whole...I think Meth and Ghost shine the most. Disappointed that there's no Masta Killa on there...he's never been all over Wu albums but his appearances are usually strong..they'll never recreate 36 Chambers of course...but they can come better than this..kinda lends to the theory of Rae that they werent feeling this album

This album will be a classic... The way things sound on all these interviews, I believe this will be the last joint Wu venture.... Money is a terrible drug....

Rza has grown as well as everyone else.. They all have growth and you can hear it in most of their music these days.. I think the problem with their current situation is that they all have an idea of what Wu should sound like, but the RZA owns the brand and therefore has alot of control over the final sound..... The Collective hunger is gone and you can def hear it in the music they release as the WU.. The individual projects mirror the individual emotions, but this record lacks that focus..... This album will be loved by many, liked by most, and hated by fans of certain individual styles.....

But please buy this album and support the art...... The Big Doe Rehab, and built for Cuban Linx II will be def bangas as well.... Wu, Wu-Tang Forever Muthafuckas..... All my Niggas and Niggettes......... Peace to the Gods an the Earths.......

I HEARD THE ALBUM!!

It's better than the W and Iron flag. That's for damn sure!! And how come no one is talking about "Tar Pit!" That song's got that grimey classic Wu Sound to me. It's not there best work. but you have to expect that. And definitely better than a lot of garbage that's out there. I just wish RZA would get back into hardcore sampling. I downloaded it but Im still gonna cop it.

Haven't heard the album yet, because I refuse to, until I get it in my hands in a couple weeks. So far the shit I've read niggaz really hate it or like it, there's no in between. I didn't like American Gangster when I first heard it, now I can't stop playing it, so maybe after a few spins, it'll grow on you. Even Rza said it took Gza a couple weeks to say "this is the one, we got it!" so give it some time to digest.

I just heard 8 Diagrams.... I am glad Ghost is puttin sumthin out now... 8 Diag is a good album, and you will all hear what Rae and Ghost is speakin on when they say the album aint Wu..... It is a good album, but it def has a sound that is kinda too mature (I am not sure how to explain it)... RZA was def on some guitar shit... It starts off hard and then it kinda fizzles to some unknown soundin sh!t.... But Meth killed that abum Lyrically! I mean every verse he did was pure Hip-Hop Fiyah! Meth was on some serious sh!t for this album...... Some of the tracks have unecessary guitar (Or something) elements, and for a pure listener, it fucks up the flow of the song... Not saying that they are terrible, but it just didn't feel right... When you hear the album, come back to this and fill in the blanks on how ya'll feel about the joint.

Every Wu member made Wu as big as it is, and no one member has been able to emulate the success of the collective, therefore no one member knows what is the best "WU" sound..... When you hear the album you will understand these comments......

Half of the albums tracks are bangers..."Wolves" and "Stick Me For My Riches" are probably the best tracks...8 Diagrams is a good Wu album...even with all of the in-fighting going on right now..Imagine what kind of an album they would put out if they could put their differences aside...Still gonna buy it of course...Gonna go buy the GFK album right now...

I never thought I'd hear another wu collective on a major so shout out to them for getting that part done.

Niggas are hating on the clan but dig this they have no national radio single or video out and are still the biggest thing in music this week in the fourth quater thats gods work right there recognize that.

Mef and Ghost are standouts on this and its time for them to raise the iron flag on solo joints to bring back the reason we all loved wu.

cuban linx II is a legened and it aint even drop.

but at the end of the day theres two dominant styles in the clan you got the rza gza deck masta and you got mef ghost and rae u god is trash

they need seperate factions. id love to hear ghost and his affiliades (lox / TU) mef and red and rae / busta combined into 1 joint

juut like id love to hear a rza / gza joint the clan needs to just think outside the box a little

but the album is made for niggas like me fuck you if you dont like it Wu Tang Mother Fucker
