I haven't heard the entire album but "Luxury Tax", "The Boss", and "Maybach Music" all go hard. If these tracks are any indication of how the album is going to sound Rick Ross will definitely avoid the proverbial sophmore jinx.

Cats are hatin on the south. Most rap in general sucks now a days no matter where you're from. Same shit.. different beat. It just so happens that most of what the majors are releasing now are southern artist so there are more artists from the south to comment on.

I didn't think that I'd ever would listen a Rick Ross album. But, my girl bought it for me and I gotta say. Rick Ross is that dude right now. Some is his lyrics were so-so at certain parts. But, all in all it's a damn good album. 8 out 10 is right to me. I think Jigga proved a point with him choosing Rick Ross with this album.

Beats tight as hell... Rick Ross himself... WACK! If it wasn't for the beats, this cat would be nothin. The beats are the only thing that saves this cat from being complete garbage. Call it hate all you want, but 2Pac is considered a legend and if I can recall, alot of his beats weren't exactly memorable. Which says alot about Pac because he didn't need the beat to save him.

If real hip-hop fans go out and cop the "Trilla" album (in stores or download it)and at least it goes gold, this album can be considered one of the best hip-hop/rap albums of 2008. Yo, The_R_, why are you hatin' on this album. The album is not garbage, man. Okay, his lyrics are little bit suspected. But, its a real good album. I agreed what Static is saying about the nice beats that Ross has been rapping on. Without those beats, Ross would be an average rapper with mediocre lyrics.

I dont know fam, i got the ross album and its nothing like the "port of miami", truthfully the first album i could listen straight through, this one i find myself skipping tracks, skipping tracks, skipping tracks. His flow is the same fixture, over and over. I honestly only like "luxury tax & maybach music" because of other artist picking up his slack. Justice League act a fool on those beats but ross need to take his time and re-focus on chorus and lyrics. I guess he's keeping it Trilla but shid at the end of the day, The Boss Is Trying To Make Skrilla...I understand thef fact, that you trying to make fast money but honestly admit you put your heart into it and if you did, the fast life has become your God!!
