I'm no 50 Cent or G-Unit fan...nor am I a fan of the new TOS album. But...I respect the way they did this album because it really doesn't have a commercial feel to it. Everything commercial is not bad, but it's usually watered down to sell to the masses. TOS has it's own vibe and a lot of the production puts me in the mind of the mid-to-late 90s, especially on tracks like "You Ain't So Tough." That track is probably my favorite because of the beat, which reminds me of some classic Wu-Tang shit. Plus, 50 Cent sounds straight up bananas on that track like he literally lost his mind...one of my favorite verses from him even though I don't like how he went at the dude TI. That was on some bitch shit.

The best thing about TOS is the album cover...you gotta give it to the Unit because that album cover is mad different! As a visual artist, my first impression of the album cover was WTF because it looks weird, the lighting is WAY too intense, and the photo itself has no focal point. It actually looks bootleg like JoJo from around the way put it together for 50 bucks. But then it started to grow on me and I really, REALLY like it now.

I have no idea who "Adam Thomas" is but he needs to re-think his opinion on the TOS album.....how can you say that this album gets only 6.5 stars from Allhiphop.com.....meanwhile 50 cent and the gunit crew come into the allhiphop offices and show respect for videos and shit for your website? whats with that?

Also, for the people who think that the aim he took at TI in the track you so tough.....Seriously how is that some bitch shit when TI gets only 12 months?

You mu8st be snitches yourself to think that MONEY makes you walk from 20+ guns and a wired bodyguard selling oyu 2 machine guns and silencers and you tell him the reason for the silencers is for the bang bang....

As for the G-Unit - TOS album....It is fire i rate it 9/10 and i love G-Unit....not a full 10 because i was hoping for a track with either Eminem or Dr. Dre.....

@slimturk I have the August issue of XXL with T.I. on the cover and in his interview he did say that his plea was a public record and if anyone wants to know wether or not he snitched they can obtain the document. Since I haven't seen any site do this yet I am assuming he is telling the truth and this is all just an attempt to ruin a southern artists career.....who did he snitch on?!? From what I heard the bodygaurd snitched on him and tried to set him up but it ended up being somewhat like entrapment the way they went about doing it, now maybe I am hearing the wrong shit but I would like to know who he so called snitched on since this is what I am hearing as well......

P.S. G Unit sucks and so does this album, and they should change their name to G Unit Clique since the majority of the members are gone. Fiddy need to just fly solo, I never liked Lloyd Banks,and Tony Yayo's last album was a joke, Buck was always my fav.......

I didn't hear the whole think yet. But they should do good numbers, They have great production they have some good songs. The only weak link I would say would be Yayo. There is so much against g-unit shit. That might hurt them... but hey if the shit is hot the shit is hot... n cant no hater deny it...

album was sick. when im feelin all but maybe 3 tracks ,its a good one. 50 went hard on this here. i kind of would like to see sha money xl produce an album and let fif just focus on musical aspect like back in the day. i doubt he'd ever do that though hes too caked up, he likes the control. banks ripped it, so did yayo. people hate on yayo cause hes cocky but hes been nice. maybe not as a solo artist but when you put these three on an album it works.

G-Unit shouldna lost Buck though. That's a big problem. But 50 can still do it man. Really. Check the "Sincerely Yours... Southside" mixtape if you don't believe the dude still got it. That s**t reminds me of when he first come out.

And I don't see why people hate on Yayo so much. Yeah I don't wanna hear the dude all day long but he got some swag.
