Common represents the diversity that is needed to satisfy the over 25 Hip Hop demographic that can't picture themselves Snappin in a club or Supermanin' dat Hoe..Thank God for Common. Not only has his love for the art paid off in dividends by affording him longevity in the game but I dig how he infuses his love for black women in his music. He points out her divine nature and I feel with a strong female response as his core base he will be around for a minute longer. Not to mention the dude got bit by the acting bug and transformed into a thesbian. He's showing growth as an artist, period. Lets refrain from calling conscious respectable people "nig's" ... Im glad to read this article... just the image of being there is making me throw on the Be album with the ressurection album in the second tray...

I was disheartened to read a common interview a few months ago and he said he's rushing to finish off his album because he feels more like an actor than a rapper (something along those lines) so I took that as "oh' Hip-Hop isnt doing it for me, I can't wait for hollywood"

his next album is called "The Believer" and should be dropping in november
