T.I.'s bodyguard sounds like he turned MAJOR snitch in a bad way.  Hip-Hop police are obviously involved in this, and it looks like T.I. could be in for a bad one, because the Feds don't play.  When Gotti and them got snatched up by the FEDS, it looked like a no winner, because FEDS don't lose cases.  They say folks have like a 5 or 10% chance of beating a FED rap, so here's to hoping T.I. gets past this one.  

I was worried something bad was gonna happen in Hip-Hop real soon, because it's been a while since we have had some MAJOR negativity hit a "star" of the game...and then this happens.  Why Tip, why?  Get someone else to make those kinda moves for you.  Someone you can trust.  Someone who knows that if/when ish goes down, they are taking the fall, not the big guy.  See, the big guy has to stay around to make sure everyone else eats.  Soldiers are supposed to go to work for you.  This bodyguard musta been like a brotha to him, but he obviously wasn't THAT brotha.

MediaTakeOut.com spoke exclusively with someone intimately involved with TI. And according to that individual, the charges against rapper TI are completely false!!

According to TI's friend, the rapper never tried to purchase any guns through his bodyguard. The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "[The bodyguard] asked TI for an advance on his [pay] and TI gave it to him .... This is my take on the whole T.I. situation

Bottom line is his bodyguard knew that attempting to purchase unlicensed weapons were illegal before he made the decision to follow through..This is a situation where snitching is not acceptable in my eyes..He put himself in that position just as much as T.I. did so he should've rode with whatever charge they was going to give him like a man..Snitching just to save your own ass is never acceptable when you are in the mix of things as well..I remember when a nigga dick and ballz got cut off and stuffed in their mouth for snitching..Take it back to the old dayz because these young niggaz is fucking up the game with all of this talking..If you do dirt take your charge like a man and leave that shit at that...T.I. was ignorant as hell for the way in which he attempted to purchase the guns though too but that still don't excuse snitching..

I've always been told that silencers are illegal but I've seen regular cats off the street walk in a gun show cop a silencer and walk around like they just bought a pack of gum. According to the AJC.com,  Harris was charged with two felonies - possession of three unregistered machine guns with two silencers, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. "This investigation developed very quickly," Vanessa McLemore, an ATF special agent, said in a statement. "We learned only this Wednesday that the cooperating witness was allegedly buying the machine guns for Harris. Harris then agreed to meet and took possession of the machine guns [Saturday] afternoon."

As the BET Hip-Hop Awards taping went on, T.I's large home in the College Park section of Atlanta was being raided. ATF agents found three rifles, two pistols and a revolver. Five of the weapons were loaded. Three guns were identified as weapons purchased by the confidential witness and delivered to Harris. Agents also seized ten boxes of items from his garage and papers and files, the AJC.com said.

A women who identified herself as Harris' mother pulled up in a GMC Yukon with what she said was Harris' lawyer on a cell phone. She asked an ATF agent for an accounting of items seized in the raid. She would not speak with reporters on the scene.

#1 LSU went to #17 Kentucky and both teams played what some view as the best game of the year, thus far. Triple OT, a stop on 4th down, and the 'Cats upend the Tigers 43-37. What a difference a year makes. Last year LSU layeth the smacketh down upon UK to the tune of 69-0. A couple years before that, UK thought it had the game wraped up with 11 seconds to go, prematurely celebrated (tore down the goalposts, gatorade shower for the coach) and Devery Henderson put a dagger in the heart of Lexington catching a TD pass that won the game for LSU. A little revenge? I think so. Kentucky WR Steven Johnson proved that he is the go to guy for Hesiman candidate Andre Woodson in his time of need, catching 7 passes for 134 yards and a TD.

#2 Cal played host to the Beavers of Oregon State, and Bears fans would say were a little too giving. The unranked Beavers took the game 31-28 in a game that should have gone to OT, if it wasn't for the pure stupidity of Cal QB Kevin Riley. Now, I know Riley isn't usually the starter, but he plays D-1 football and his mistake was plain dumb. The Bears were driving, deep in OSU territory. Snap the ball with about 11 seconds left to go. Ok kid, no one's open, just throw the ball away. Even if you take the Intentional Grounding penalty, you're still in FG range, and we're going in to extra time. Wait. What are you doing? Don't scramble. Throw the fucking ball. Are you retarded? SACK?! We don't have any timeouts you dumbass what are you doing? Time runs out as the field goal unit is trying to run on the field. The Bears coach said it was his fault. Kind of. You were getting greedy coach. You should have run up on the ball, spiked it with a few seconds left, and kicked the tying FG, but you wanted that last second TD and it bit you in the ass.

#3 Ohio State was at home against Kent State and got in that ass. 48-3. 'Nuff said. Besides fuck the Buckeyes. They have a cake schedule and should sleep in to the national championship game, where I know they'll get twerked by whoever they play.

#4 BC went to Notre Dame in what some say is a rivalry game. This time the tables were turned from the norm. The Eagles came in and won 27-14. Jimmy Clausen got pulled for Evan Sharpley who proved it doesn't matter who plays QB for the Irish, they just suck. QB Matt Ryan of Boston College put up more solid numbers, going 32-49 for 291, 2 TD and 1 INT.

Matt Grothe is tired of people disrespecting his USF Bulls, and not giving him the respect he deserves as a QB in college football. The #5 Bulls played host to cross state rival UCF, and wasn't playing nice. 64-12 not nice, to be exact. Grothe threw for 212 yards and 2 TDs, and ran for 100 yds and 2 TDs. Did I mention he came out of the game towards the end of the 3rd quarter? He wants his name on the Heisman watch, real bad.

#6 Oklahoma was at home against the #11 Mizzou Tigers this week in one of the better matchups of the weekend. This was a QB Dual between Sooners freshman Sam Bradford and Tigers Junior Chase Daniel. Daniel proved that mistakes kill. Even though he went 37/47 for 361 and a TD, his 2 INTs proved costly. Bradford, on the other hand, went 24/34 for 266 and 2 TDs. Sooners RB Chris Brown got himself 3 visits to the paint in the Sooners W. He was quoted after the game saying "Girl, indeed I can run it, run it."

#7 South Carolina was put on upset alert by some experts this week, playing at North Carolina, fresh of the win over Miami. NC was also remember when Steve Spurrier was coaching at Duke, and ran the score up, as he does, and took a team picture in front of the scoreboard after the game, in Chapel Hill back in the day. The Gamecocks held off a late surge by the Tarheels to win 21-15.

Washington State made the trip to Eugene to take on #9 Oregon this week, but from the looks of it, they forgot to actually show up. 53-7 was the score, and Dennis Dixon proved, once again, that he's a baller.

#10 USC found itself in unfamiliar grounds on Saturday night. In L.A. Coming off a loss. Losing in the 4th quarter. To another unranked opponent. Freshman Joe McKnight broke off a stellar 45 yard run that set up the go ahead TD with 10 minutes left in the 4th. The Trojans added a FG in the last minute, giving them the victory, 20-13 of Arizona.

#12 Va Teach went to Duke and handled business like they were supposed to. Outscoring the Blue Devils 13-7 in the 1st quarter and 30-7 the rest of the way gave the Hokies a 43-14 victory. But hey Duke fans, at least you've won as many games as Notre Dame.

The Washington Huskies went in to the desert, and were feeling pretty good about their 17-13 halftime lead over #14 Arizona State. ASU must have got a hell of a reaming at halftime, because they came out and played like they were ranked. The Sun Devils took the game 44-20, out scoring Washington 31-3 in the 2nd half.

Brian Brohm got his Louisville Cardinals back on track with a 28-24 victory over surpising #15 Cincinnati. Brohm went 28/38 for 350 and 3 TDs in the game. Bearcats QB Ben Mauck had a solid day as well, going 26/45 for 324 yds 3 TDs and a pick. This was 'Nati's first loss of the season.

#16 Hawaii came to the mainland to take on San Jose State on Friday night and needed every one of Colt Brennan's 75 pass attempts to squeak out an OT win 42-35. Colt Brennan was 44/75 for 545 yards and 4 TDs. Nothing surprising about that. Except for he threw 4 INTs to go with it. That means in his last 3 games, Brennan has 8 touchdown passes and 9 interceptions. Not the stats you would expect for a kid who was supposed to throw for over 60 TDs this year. His Heisman hopes are almost non existant and his draft stock is slipping.

Ron Zook had never won 6 games in a row as a head coach. Ever. But he was the favorite leading the Illini into Iowa to take on the near pathetic Hawkeyes. The Hawkeyes only put up 10 points. But it was enough to keep that streak of Zook's alive. The fighting Zookers lost 10-6.

Remember a few weeks ago when I said (now) #19 Wisconsin had no business being in the top 10 because they're sorry, for one, and their mascot is a gay ass badger? They got the message. After losing to Illinois last week, they caught a pounding at the hand of JoePa's Nittany Lions 38-7. JoePa was just pissed at that traffic incident he was involved in earlier in the week and had to take it out on somebody.

Lawrence, Kansas is a pretty cool place to be right now, I would imagine. The basketball season is coming up pretty soon and the Jay Hawks carry a preseason ranking of 3. What's surprising in the heartland is the football team, ranked #20 in the country. On Saturday, they beat the Baylor Bears 58-10, which moves Kansas to 6-0 for the first time since '95.

#21 FSU sucks so bad. I called them losing to Wake Forest. For the second year in a row. Note to Bobby Bowden: this is unacceptable. You're making the entire state look bad. FSU should just get it over with. Fire Jeff Bowden, bring in a highly touted offensive coordinater so they can start putting points on the board. Oh. Wait...Demon Deacons pull the "upset" 24-21 over the 'Noles.

If you watched #22 Auburn go to Arkansas, I feel bad for you. The waiting game of "when is Darren McFadden gonna break out? He's gotta score once, right?" is still going on, and it's Sunday night. The Razorbacks looked to have this snoozefest wraped up 7-6, after scoring a TD with 1:36 left in the game. Then, that son of a bitch Auburn kicker Wes Bynum came and did what he does, and hit the game winning FG with 21 seconds left. Tigers win 9-7.

# 23 Texas was in Iowa to the the Cyclones of Iowa State. The Longhorns were pissed. They gave Iowa State their worst loss since 1997. Colt McCoy was 23/30 for 298 yds and 4 TDs in the 56-3 murking.

#24 Georgia almost was upset themselves, by Vanderbilt. A last second 37 yd FG by Brandon Coutu gave the Dawgs the victory, and kept them in the rankings for another week.

#25 Tennessee made the journey to Mississippi State to take on the bull dogs in an SEC matchup. Vols' senior QB Erik Ainge led the charge going 22/36 for 259, 2 TDs and a pick, while RB Arian Foster ran the ball 21 times for 139 yards and a trip to the paint. The real star of the game was Tennessee WR Lucas Taylor who had 11 catches for 186 and a touch. The Bulldogs couldn't match Tennessee and lost 33-21 to the Vols

Unranked Michigan took on another surprise team out of the Big 10 this week in Purdue. Mike Hart rushed for 102 yards and 2 TDs in the first half, and came out in street clothes for the second half after injuring his ankle. He was smiling, and walking around the sidelines, so it doesn't look to be that serious. This marks the 7th straight game in which Hart ran for over 100 yards, which is a school record. "The Chad" had an awesome day, going 21-28 for 264 yards and 2 TDs. Michigan won 48-21.

Oklahoma State sent a message to the Cornhuskers, giving them their worst home loss since 1958. The Cowboys taxed that ass 45-14, and said "We come to Lincolng and put a harder whoopin on these boys than USC. AND WHAT?"

I've never had too much of an opinion about Puffy besides his label died off after Biggie and Ma$e.

I give them dudes props for getting that cheese but like you said it would've been nice to see a "self destruction" sort of say.

I had a situation happen to me when I was up north at school that got me labeled as a snitch! It went to a mostly white college and I say a fight between a black student and a white student. So when the authorities can I told the truth(which put the black student totally at fault) and for the rest of the time I attended that college, I was labeled a snitch by a lot of the black students.

I know what I did was right so it didnt bother me, and still doesnt!!! Am I wrong?

i feel u. i like T.I. but it took me hella long. i never heard him say that either cause there aren't really any new rappers out whose cd i listen to in entirity. i think the Game was the last one, but i only listened to the whole thing like once. i stick to my old school for listening to the whole thing. these days, it's songs for me, not albums. cause i'm not impressed all like that.

who knows maybe he did go to court on seven different occasions with felony charges. but i doubt it, it was probably multiple felony counts on a few different cases. shit i would hope so...
