JAY-Z IS GETTING READY TO TOUR!
I feel like a stan, but I am beginning to get information aka rumors about what’s next with this Jay-Z American Gangster situation. I don’t know if the album is done, but I have heard that Jay has already begun rehearsing for a promo tour. Now, previously Jay-Z said this would come in the summer, but it appears to be coming in November. From what I understand, it fits into the plan he explained to AHH interview, just not in the summer. Jay said he wanted a live band to execute the instrumentation that’s demonstrated on American Gangster.

Here is the new tracklisting of the album. I see “Blue Magic” got the bonus track treatment. I don’t see the “Can’t Knock the Hustle” remix. I’m looking forward to hearing that. At any rate, I think there are going to be other songs leaking out. Lil’ Wayne, eh? Wayne could play the heroin baby or something since it’s a 70’s-era album. Still, this one stays in the rumor category.

DAME AND BIGGS DO THEIR OWN THING…TO MAKE JAY MAD?

DIDDY ABOUT TO TURN HIMSELF IN!
Oh wow! Diddy was alleged to have beat down Dame’s homey Stevie. Well, now the cops are going after Diddy over a lil’ fisticuffs! I know we heard the bodyguards got into it, so we can’t discount that it might not have been a “fair one,” but all I can say is that Diddy is expected to be charged today for punching this “Stevie” guy, who is a part of Dame Dash’s “real entourage.” They say, Stevie and Diddy got into it over a girl. Diddy allegedly socked Stevie and when Stevie got up, Diddy socked him again. Then, Stevie called the cops since Diddy had his bodyguards with him. Diddy is expected to be charged with misdemeanor assault. Stop the violence and kick the science!
HEAVY D, THE OVERWEIGHT LOVER, IS BACK
I also heard that Heavy D, the overweight lover, is about to get his weight back up in Hip-Hop. According to rumor, his plan is to go on a lil’ tour some time this year to get the people back in the “know” of who Waterbed Hev is. Now, if you don’t know, you might be suspect, but not necessarily. Hev’s been doing a lot of acting and plays and less beats and rhymes. I bet when Andre Harrell got honored, that sparked a lil’ “umph” in Hev to get out there again.
IS TINY PREGNANT AGAIN?
UH OH. Things might get even more difficult for T.I. and Tiny if the rumors being spread are true. I am getting chitter chatter than Tiny might actually be pregnant with T.I.’s second baby. There are all sorts of reports of how it all went down. I heard that the ATF / Feds were especially brutal when raiding T.I.s home. Crazy. A fed doubling as a bodyguard for a rapper? Do a background check on these people, people!
NICK CANNON IS BACK ON THE PROWL!
According to OK magazine, Nick Cannon has already scored a new babe like a week or so after breaking off with his fiancé, Selita Ebanks. Now they are saying that he’s bagged a babe in Rachel Smith aka Mss USA. I heard they were all over each other and left a NYC club together. Yeah, I know you don’t care…and neither do I. I give Nick credit for being able to do the wop like a pro though.
NO NAS REALITY SHOW!?!
If they thought we were going to forget, they were wrong! We’ve seen a lot of Hip-Hop-based reality shows come and go, but the Nas was never came or left! From what I heard, that chumpie got canceled by the brass at Viacom. I don’t know the exact reasons, but perhaps there wasn’t enough drama? I know Nas is a pretty private dude and we don’t know a lot about Kelis either, other than the music. They shun the paparazzi so maybe it wasn’t conducive to TV?
JERMAINE DUPRI LETS IT OUT ABOUT BIGGIE!
Shout out to Jermaine Dupri for making the cover with his beautiful daughter! JD was on the Hot 97 morning show talking about how he was right there the moment before Biggie got killed. He said that he was getting in the truck, but right as he got in there, his own car pulled up and he got in there instead. Right after that, Biggie was killed. He also stated that he and Biggie were very close and that BIG didn’t quite understand why everybody didn’t love him and his music. Interesting stuff…He also commented on the DeBarge family and their claims that Janet has a daughter by one of them. He was like, “You’ll say anything when you’re broke.” OUCH!
PRODUCERS ABOUT TO SUE 50 CENT?
I’m not in the music game, even though I get MP3’s and myspaces’s like I am. I can only imagine how brutal it is. Through the years, there has been rapper after rapper and producer after producer saying that they got ripped off. Now, there is another one. Here are HIS exact words…not mine! He says he is making this into a legal matter. (There have been no alterations to his words for style, clarity, spelliing or grammar.)
This beat jacking took place in august of 2006 after I sent G-unit a beat CD of my copyrighted material and I didn't find out that they used it until November of 2006 I talked to Sha Money XL and they said they were gonna pay me but they failed to do so by saying they couldn't get Sample clearance... So I talked to Sha Money XL in person at the One Stop Shop Producers conference after scoreing like a 4th place in the beat battle and I told him I was gonna remake the beat with like instrumentation so that we could avoid the sample clearance so I did in LA with the Living Legends at mutual friends studio sha called me and asked for it and I said I will have it done by the end of that night. I got back to phoenix and I sent it to him and he said it was hot and he was gonna get at 50 and I never heard back. than as of October 1st 2007 50 cent released a book called 50 x 50 where it comes accompanied with a CD with an unreleased track which is 'Puppy Love' and they went around my remake and had someone else remake my beat and it sounds the same but horrible... so now I have took legal action against them and I want to make this public to everyone... here is the Radio Spot from Friday Night Flavas (Power 98, AZ) that they talk about the situation and had callers... I wanna put him on blast...

Recently Irv Gotti checked in with the "Trey the Chocolate Jock Morning Jump-off" (Power 92 Chicago) and pretty much put all the rumors about Ashanti to bed! My homegirl...Kendra G (Morning Show Co-Host) hit me up and this is what Irv had to say. Kendra G. quotes...
IRV GOTTI ON NOT INCLUDING ASHANTI ON HIS REALITY SHOW.........
"It's not that I didn't want to include Ashanti, it's just that Ashanti isn't really around Murder Inc like that. She is still on the label but Ashanti isn't really around us and that is a decision that she choosed. It's not that I didn't want her to be on the show...it's reality! It's reality tv and reality is she isn't around us like that!"
