BIG TIME REST IN PEACE
From what I understand, Donnie Simpson (legendary BET host) Big Tigger (another legendary BET host) and Stephon Marbury (legendary ball player) all lost their fathers over the previous weekend. I don’t know all of the circumstances surrounding this, but that pretty crazy. Their deaths were not related in any way, as far as I know. We should send a R.I.P./Thank you since the fathers (and mothers) gave us their super talented sons.
DEHAVEN: THE SUBJECT ON JAY-Z’S IT WAS ALL GOOD JUST A WEEK AGO?
Jay-Z: is he such a bad guy? I jokingly made reference to the song “A Week Ago,” (From Vol 2.) but I am hearing that that song is actually about Jay-Z and DeHaven! I don’t know! But here is a rumor from what seems to be an informed person. The person decried the notion that Jay-Z doesn’t take care of the homies. We all know that Jaz-O and Sauce could have signed with The Roc, but choose not to. Now, my source said it was, because they didn’t believe in the Roc, but I heard that they couldn’t “rock” with the paperwork. Jay-Z was used to that “old school” money and was insulted. Remember, Sauce was writing joints for Puff and had gotten a Grammy by this time, I believe. Anyway, think on that.
SPICE ONE: IT WAS ALL GOOD JUST A WEEK AGO!
Some of you might not remember Spice-1, one of the realest rappers ever! I mean, I wasn’t a huge fan, but the respect was always there. Well. Spice has been shot and critically wounded. Apparently, he was shot two times and one of the bullets nearly hit him in the heart. Times are crazy, for real! Get better Spice!
R.KELLY DISMISSING NE-YO’s CLAIMS!
So, I have a homey that has Northern VA on smash, so it seems and he hit me with a few good rumors.
He told me that R. Kelly denied Ne-Yo’s claims that he took all the dressing rooms and left none for the others singers.
He said that Omarion doesn’t sex his fans or girls that he doesn’t know.
Supposedly, Tyson Beckford is known to get busy with an “L” or seven.
STUCK ON THE FOULNESS?! JANET’S NOT TOURING?
Everybody got all hyped up from The Jacksons doing their thing next year – all of them on tour! Word! Even Michael and even Janet…now…no Janet! Rumor has it, the 40-city world tour was going to be the grand daddy of all the tours! Now, I am not going to get all crazy and mention J.D.s, because he’s just written a serious blog about the rumors. Lets just say that it would appear that Janet is just going to work on her next album instead. I heard L.A. Reid is the one really pushing this album along, not Dupri.
DEF JAM LAYOFFS?
I don’t how factual this is, but I am getting word that there have been a series of major layoffs at Def Jam. Well, I have to wonder why and who? I mean think about it, the MUSIC Def Jam is putting out right now is actually pretty good. I’m not mad at it one single bit (Jay-Z, Freeway, Kanye, Ghostface…)! So, I am hearing A&Rs got the cut and some others. I mean, this isn’t really something that I care about but it does come at a bad time because of the holiday.

My homey, seen in the pic below, spotted Cam’ron the same day beef jumped off between Plies and Trick Daddy in Orlando. He bumped in to Cam (not literally) when he was getting his car valet parked. He said that Cam’s crew pulled up in the Pink Range and Cam pulled up in a white one (let me find out). He said Cam gave him a copy of the mixtape and its fire (I still haven’t heard it). Anyway, I need to get that mixtape, I keep hearing its good stuff.

I recently got a story that theorized that the AIDS virus came from Haiti, which refutes the notion that there was a “sexually active” male flight attendant spreading it coast to coast. I see somebody is trying to pin something like that one the people of Haiti. THIS, I don’t believe. I believe the powers are trying to re-write history – AGAIN! Wyclef is with me. He told the AP, “World AIDS Day (December 1) is an opportunity to evoke the progress and challenges that Haiti must confront in order to fight this epidemic, but also the recent news that unjustly targeted our country and showed serious prejudice.” Michael Worobey, an assistant professor of evolutionary biology at the University of Arizona, has released a report saying that AIDS actually came into “power” in 1969 and started running rampant in America in the 1980s. Like I said, sounds like they are trying to pin this on a voiceless community. Tell ‘em Clef!
