I thought they had the cards closer than it should have been, though. Hatton only won 2 rounds to me. Most of the rounds were close, but I gave most of them to Floyd. But in the end, no body can say shit about Floyd pushin with his forearms and all that cuz his left hand put Hatton on his ass. Hatton should have been knocked down about 4 times, but he kept comin with it. Mayweather is just too smart to get caught up in a brawl. He knew he was gonna be able to find his openings, he just had to not get KO'd early and the holes would open themselves up.

Hatton just looked like he was playing for the KO every round, and it didn't help that most of the people in the arena were his fans and wanted a KO..it looked like he was fighting to please them, not to secure a victory.

Floyd won hands down I saw that fight like 5 times already recorded it on my DVR. He did get on his bike early and often but thats boxing. I like the way he ended it that showed he is a champion the way he finished him off. Your right and the problem with the prisons is they have arevolving door and most that come in go back out!!! And im not putting all the blame on the person I put the blame on the system see prisons are used for the wrong things all they really do is house the offender when in reality these are correctional facilities and they should focus on rehab and the teaching of life skills and have ties to teh community as well so that when people get out they can get a job as opposed to feeling like all they can do is what they did before... I was just talkin to a friend of mine. We were talkin about the Mike Vick situation, and he said "He's probably gonna have to serve at least 80% of that term to. Bullshit, mayne, that's bullshit."


Here's my thing with that. This has become less about the dogfighting than it has with Mike Vick lying about it. First he said I didn't have anything to do with it. Then he said I did, but I didn't have anything to do with killing them. Then he said I paid for it and helped them kill the dogs. Then he lied to his p.o. and failed a drug test while out on bond. And it's bullshit for him not serving 100% of his sentence?

I don't agree with cutting a sentence short, as it is. You commited the crime, got found guilty and you're time is supposed to get cut short for 'good behavior'??

Like you were just in time out or something? Like you didn't break the law, and the entire reason you're in the situation you are now is because of 'bad behavior'

Like once you're in jail, you only committed 75% of the crime, so you should only have to serve 75% of your time?

**I know it's not my convo, but i'm in the San Fernando Valley and it's like lil Tijuana. There is a brown on brown situation and it has gotten pretty heated at times. I don't really interact within the neighborhood/community because of that issue. I don't even spend my weekends in or around my own neighborhood. It's an issue but it's like what do you do? thanks for answering the question.  I feel you on the note of not trying to speak for the mexicans.  I echo the statement, if anyone is here of that descent I definitely take my knowledge second to yours as well.  I personally dont know how the natives view the mexicans.  From just what i see, it seems like the spanish side is more embraced by the mexicans than their native side.  But thats just my outside perspective.

As far as the land ownership thing and all that, i heard somewhere though that the Natives never viewed themselves as having ownership of the land.  They felt the land was there to be worked with for survival, but not that it was theres or whatever.  Which explains why they originally embraced the europeans and had no problem sharing (history shows us that the pilgrims had a different perspective obviously).

What I mean is not all but most of us that are stuck in the same mindframe.

this is also where the anti-miscegenation laws came from that were overturned in the 1960s.

and folks might say well shit they were Black, Biracial people back then should be lumped with the rest of Blacks.

but that is exactly where the in-group color issues come from.

America has a long history of dismissing the Biracial experience. and it continues today.

the 2000 census was the 1st to give an option of bi- or multi-racial.

He did so much and inspired so many that he will never be forgotten and neither will UGK.
