WILL SMITH WILL PLAY OBAMA
If there is a movie on Barack Obama, Will Smith is the man for the job. "Will and I have talked about this because he has the ears!” Obama joked in an upcoming interview with Entertainment Tonight. I think Will could pull it off and should Obama win the presidency, they have to show us something about what happened. Strangely, Will is only about five or six years younger than Obama is now. We’re on a timetable though! Will’s head has more grays than Obama!
WITH EYES…WE SAW…WAYNE AND NIVEA IN NEW JERSEY!
You might have read our review of Lil Wayne’s show in Newark, New Jersey [read it!]. WELL, guess who was seen right there in the living FLESH? NIVEA WITH WAYNE! What the hell? Now, I can’t say for sure but others are speculating that Wayne is the real reason why Nivea and The Dream are breaking up in divorce. Nivea released the following statement in December.
“I come from a sad and scary past that I am still in the process of overcoming and growing past, thanks to the man I love and always will. This is truly the only person I’ve ever known or heard of that is incredibly loving, passionate, wise, psychic, creative, genius, and many more things that I could never put into words. I don’t feel it is fair for neither of us, especially him, to continue this never-ending battle of the minds that he and i have continued for long enough.”
I think she liked skinny rappin’ rock star-looking dudes over chubby hit-making R&B dudes.
RUSSELL REPLIES!
I’ve been attempting to resolve some things in my head so yesterday [read it here] I put up the possibility of a deeper connection between Russell Simmons and Hillary Clinton. Here you go, Russell’s personal reply to AllHipHop.com.
Russell told AllHipHop.com: I am on the advisory board of Wal-Mart along with Rev. [Al] Sharpton, Alexis Herman, former secretary of education, Kathy Hughes [Radio One] and other Latino and Asian leaders. Our job is to fight for diversity and promote the proper investments back into communities, including big # to Hip-Hop Summit [Action Network], Rush Foundation and the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, all of those three organizations I chair.”

THE NAS MAXIM CONNECTION SOURS
Maxim gave Nas’ N****r 2.5 stars and Nas said he was shocked to see it! The thing is, Nas hasn’t even finished the album, according to the New York Post. I guess Maxim said sorry, but Nas still isn’t feeling them for that slick stuff they pulled! He said, "I'd prefer [a review from] Playboy. That kind of stuff doesn't reach my radar or effect anybody around me. I don't know what a music rating from Maxim is . . . I don't know what it even means really." Certainly, Nas knows what an AHH review means! Get at us. Illseed will personally review it. 50 Cent is already paying me (KIDDING). HOLLA!
JIM JONES JACKS UP T-PAIN?
Check out this concert review about he Winterfest in NY. You will see the Fat Joe is able to rock NY, but some other stuff seemed to go down with Jim Jones and T-Pain.
I was waiting for you to post up rumors from Hot 97's Winterfest in New York last week but I still haven't seen any. Anyway, I was there and Fat Joe did perform but J. Holiday didnt show up although he was on the bill (apparently he got arrested that night). The concert was crazy! Everyone from Juelz Santana, Trey Songs, Snoop, T-Pain (who ripped it by the way), Florida, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Dj Khaled, Fabolous and Jim Jones was there. The concert was crazy (cant stress that enough) until the end when Jim Jones came out and kinda messed up T-Pain's set. He apparently had some problems with someone on the stage and kept interrupting T-Pain from the back of the stage. He kept saying "Dipset" everytime someone talked. It was pretty funny! After that fiasco the cops shut the concert down and T-Pain was mad he didnt get to end the concert off right. Juelz Santana was also mad at someone. He was the first to perform and told the crowd that he waS UPSET that him and other New York artists weren't able to close out the show. Overall the show was good though. Snoop and Tpain did their thing but everyone in the audience was trying to find out why Jim Jones was tight! I hope this helps!
CROWD BEATS UP DUDE OVER SCREAMING AT REMY?
I heard my favorite rapper was in Bridgeport, Connecticut over the weekend and had a show at Club Azzure! I heard the crowd was in love with Remy Ma (yea, that’s my favorite rapper!) and a dude screamed out “I love you Remy!” And Remy replied, “I love you too!” I heard somebody on the stage said, “Remy don’t like no f****ts.” And, what does the dude say? I heard that the dude said, “Suck my d**k.” What made him say that of all things? Well, this lead to a huge fight where the dude in the crowd took a major loss and got his and his homie’s a** beat. I heard a well-known NY rapper was among those that leapt into the crowd. He’s no stranger to Remy Ma or getting hit either by a sucker. Anyway, Shout out to Bridgeport!
IS THE D MAD AT BIZARRE of D12?
As far as I know, Bizarre of D12 is one of the staples of Detroit…you know, somebody that is respected. I am hearing some funny rumors surrounding the man these days, even with a connection to Eminem. So, there are rumored to be quite a few people upset with him right now, because producers having gotten paid for his last CD. Now, I am not sure how many Detroit producers he used, but it was enough for me to hear that Bizarre’s cousin Young Miles caught some flack over this. Now, I just heard he’s a young rapper related to Bizarre, but I heard Miles had to defend himself against the allegations. Apparently, some people wanted Miles to give them Bizarre’s information and he refused. Then it got ugly. One thing lead to another…yada, yada, yada…somebody allegedly licks off a shot after a lil’ scuffle – I heard. Nobody was wounded or anything so hopefully somebody realizes that Bizarre REALLY didn’t cake up over that album of his so consider it a resume builder. There’s always credit…
DISPUTE FOR JUELZ?
There is a group of promoters called Loud N Wyld Entertainment in Allentown, PA. Well, according to sources within the group, Juelz Santana committed to doing a show with them about a year ago. These people tell me that, since the initial commitment, they haven’t been able to find or connect with Mr. Santana and now intend to pursue it legally. What is very interesting to me is that they have or expect to retain the same lawyers as Tracye Stafford of Ikon Entertainment. Tracye is the promoter that is suing Webbie for $1 million for a contract breach. A source told illseed, “They don’t pull that s**t on them White guys at House of Blues or companies like Concerts Easts. They take advantage of us when we in the streets promoting there albums in the hood. Well you’ll see the lawsuit up soon.”
