COMMON AND KANYE MOVING ON?
I’m not trying to suggest a beef, by any stretch of the hipster’s imagination. I will state that there is a powerful, mighty rumor going around that Common will not feature Kanye on his next album. Why? I don’t know. May I speculate? (The IC & AHH fam says, “Yes you may!”) At the Grammys, Kanye won and made a comment about Common insisting on coming out at the same time as him. As you know, they were both nominated in the same category and ‘Ye won. And to mainstream America, Common is like Kanye’s boy or something, but don’t remember when he wanted to “borrow a dollar.” Anyway, Common, in the aftermath of the Grammys, made a statement about Kanye loving himself. I say all that to say that we shouldn’t expect to see ‘Ye on Common’s CD. And that’s a good thing. Both are 1000% legit artists and Common is a 5-Star Veteran all by himself. Invincible Summer is Com’s eighth solo release and we can expect it in July.

there are reports CONFIRMING that Mariah is sporting the exact same
engagement ring that his previous fiancée Selita Ebanks rocked. But, you know the media. I got from more reliable sources that Cannon Nick actually had the ring designed a $2.5 million ring for Mariah.

Now word is Charli is about to make a strong comeback which is pretty good timing since there's a female emcee drought going on right now. I heard she just signed back with Murder Inc (Why Charli???) and they're starting work on her new album. So hopefully this project will materialize for her. Now we need is for Murder Inc’s other female emcee to return to the label and this year will be poppin. [Illseed note: I love C. B-more!]
