MORE 50 CENT IN AFRICA
I don’t know how true this is, but the chain snatch rumor was dead on so here is another one. I heard 50 cent and G-Unit continued their trek in South Africa last week at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa (May 1st 2008). I heard some of the South African faves rocked. This included Prokid and Jozi as some of the openers. I heard there was a bit of lateness on G-Unit’s part. I heard some Caucasian female rapper from Detroit came on to help open for 50 and all was not well for her. I heard the South African crowd boo’d her and then put the nail in the coffin – a bottle to the head. What’s with all this throwing bottles at artists? I heard the 50 Cent/ Lloyd Banks/ G-Unit show was hot, but then Banks did something crazy. He threw his sweaty towel into the crowd, only to see people go at it like piranhas on bloody meat. Shout out to South Africa!
Kudos to 50, who met with Nelson Mandela's son, if I am correct.
50 CENT CHAIN SNATCH ON VIDEO
I know I was zee first to tell y’all about 50 Cent getting that chain snatched last week, but here is the video of a person running and grabbing 50’s chain off him. No hard feelings, but some people get it by any means and you know 50 made his mark with "How To Rob..." Think about that. Still, this is a pretty small thing in the grand scheme of things. While there might be some “honor” in getting 50’s chain, he’s pretty clear that he doesn’t need to wear real “ice.” It’s likely that the bandit got a souvenir but not something worth a lot of money. R.KELLY IS F’D
With the legal system the way it is, you never know. But I heard R. Kelly might just have a problem. According to the Chicago Sun Times, a witness will testify she had a threesome with R. Kelly and the alleged underage victim in his sex tape. The trial is expected to start next month. Jury selection is expected to start this Friday. I suppose the woman would have to know that the girl was underage to really be instrumental in this case (which I heard is the case). I heard the girl is an adult now, but was underage herself when the ménage happened. Who knows? This case should have been. R.Kelly is looking at 15 years in jail.
