Read the news story Bench Warrant Issued For Rapper Foxy Brown


Foxy – why?! Somebody get Foxy to a court asap!! She is wanted by a judge who has issued a bench warrant for her arrest! Please don’t let her go back to jail already! Sheeesh! She was supposed to show up this morning to a Brooklyn Criminal Court. Foxy’s lawyer apparently couldn’t produce her client and didn’t know how to get her. This is for the case where Foxy allegedly struck a women with her mobile device.


YUNG BERG GOT STYLED ON?


All the violence must stop! I am hearing some bad things about Yung Berg. Rumor has it that Yung Berg got knocked out over the weekend in Los Angeles over some foolisness. From what I heard, there was a big fight and Berg was caught up in it. There’s not connection to Bow Wow, but somebody said that there was a “mess” that Berg got himself in. I don’t know what that mess is. What’s worse, I’m telling you this is likely to be on youtube soon. I told you about 50 in Africa, but we’ll see if this comes true. Hope not!

My homey Nnete from the Madd Hatta Morning Show on 97.9 The Box in Houston gave me the scoop! Chris Brown popped up on stage at the Glow in the Dark Tour Friday night! Chris came on the stage to dance at the end of N.E.R.D's set but did not pop back up on stage during Rihanna's performance. Kanye shouted out to Chris Brown at the end of the night saying, 'Thanks to Chris Brown, yeah, he here too!" I wonder if Jay-Z and Beyonce talked to Chris and Rihanna about doing that bit of cross promo? I heard it was his birthday weekend. Ahhhhhh…young and old love! I’m in the middle – mnius the love.

For all those that attended the Houston 'Glow in the Dark' tour you got an awkward surprise when Kanye stormed off the stage when he had tech difficulties during his performance. Now some are used to Kanye's antics but others aren't so for those select few and loyal fans Kanye released an official apology on his blog peep this:


Don’t believe the hype! When I started the show the other night we were having a lot of technical issues due 2 the heat. The 2 huge screens on both sides of the stage were glaring bright blue like when your DVD player acts up at home. I asked for them 2 turn the screens off 3 times because it was distracting 2 the show. The fans were not getting what they paid for. I admit, in my frustration, I did use profanity on the 4th time I asked. I stopped the show 2 go over and check it out myself. After the screens were turned off I started the same song from the beginning. The screens were eventually fixed 5 songs in but it was definitely better 2 have them blacked out rather than bright blue. Unfortunately for certain media outlets, you will never be able 2 ‘Michael Jackson’ me. That means 2 make it seem like everything I do is so weird or out of place… they always try 2 make it seem like everything is about my ego! That joke is getting old. At a certain point you have 2 respect that I’m one of the last artist that still cares about the fans having the best time of there lives! Thanks 2 Bossip and Perez for taking it easy on me on the EW spaz… I did go in a little 2 much on that one. I’m sure there are some cool people who work over there and had nothing 2 do with that review. With all that said…. “I’m still the greatest!!!” lol!! Oh and I was in the studio with T.I. last night…. so get ready!!!

Black people have a long history of fighting against voter suppression, and now the Democratic Party will be the enemy in that fight. As bad as that would be, there's another reason that a coup by party insiders would threaten racial progress.

Senator Clinton's plan to have superdelegates hand her the nomination doesn't make sense without a parallel strategy -- she has to stoke enough division and race-based fear among Democratic voters to convince superdelegates that white voters will not vote for Senator Obama in the general election. One of Clinton's key arguments to superdelegates is that America won't elect a Black man, and therefore she's the better choice for Democrats to beat John McCain. While she makes that argument in private to superdelegates, in public Clinton's campaign and her surrogates are doing everything they can to damage Barack Obama by ginning up fear and division and playing to the worst instincts of our society. It's an insult to Black people and all Americans, Obama and Clinton supporters alike.

The pattern has been clear and consistent to some party leaders. Last week, according to the Washington Post, James Clyburn -- who as House Majority Whip remains neutral and is the highest ranking Black member of Congress -- accused the Clintons of marginalizing Black voters. Referring to this strategy in another interview, Clyburn said that "Nothing in this campaign has been by accident."

Congressman Clyburn warned that "black people are incensed" over the divisiveness of the Clinton strategy and that it threatens an irreparable breach between Black people and the Democratic Party. He's right. And if superdelegates hand Clinton a victory despite her defeat among voters, they will be condoning and rewarding that strategy.

Some party leaders have expressed strong concern about superdelegates overruling voters. But as a whole, superdelegates have not made it clear that they will respect the will of voters. Today, we want to send a clear, unequivocal message to superdelegates and other party leaders: Reject the idea that the nomination can be won with a strategy that preys on racism, sows division, and disenfranchises millions of voters.

[Micronauts were some of my favorite toys as a child. Introduced by Mego in the early 70's, Micronauts were actually remakes of a Japanese line of toys called Microman. The Microman line was created by Takara, the same company that game us the Transformer toys in the 80's.
Many Micronaut toys and figures were the same as the Microman toys, especially the early ones like Pharoid and the Time Travelers. Others, like the Karrio carrying case robot and the aliens, were created specifically by Mego for the American line.

One of things for which Micronauts are best remembered is their 5mm peg hole system. Nearly every Micronaut toy could be disassembled and joined with other Micronauts for completely new creations.

In the late 70's, the Micronauts were quickly eclipsed by a line of toys that Mego turned down, Star Wars figures. This mistake, combined with a number of other financial blunders like licensing box office failures The Black Hole and Star Trek the Motion Picture, led to Mego's eventual bankruptcy.

Following Mego's collapse, a number of other company's picked up the line in different forms, giving the world The Interchangeables and The Lords of Light. Micronaut-like toys were also released in foreign countries, especially Italy and Canada and are some of the most sought after Micronauts.

The result of that is ARTISTS like myself suffer. That was just one scenario. I'll give you one more, labels don't want to take chances signing an artist that nobody knows anything about. They expect you to already have x amount of radio spins, sold x amount of copies already on your own. Ok well what about ARTISTS who are in situations where they can't provide those things due to them holding down a full time job and in my case a part time job as well to feed their family?? To provide those things you have to eat,shyt(pardon my language), and sleep music every day. The only way you can do that is that you have a steady stream of income coming in and a lot of time on your hand, who would most likely fit that description? I’ll tell you who, a drug dealer. A drug dealer has income and nothing but time on they’re hand. (Now I’m not knocking drug dealers I did it for 10 years. I only stopped when I had my first son) However 9x out of 10 the dealer who can provide labels with what they’re looking for can’t rap for example Shorty Lo.. I could go on but I’ll stop there. I know I was meant to do music and it took me a while to realize that. It took everyone around me constantly saying wow, you have it . I mean and it’s not just people who know me saying this. I can walk in a room full of people that I’ve never seen before in my life and put my cd in and they’re completely blown away by my talent. I said all of the above to say this, just having TALENT is not good enough if the labels are afraid to take a chance on you. Will you be that label to take a chance???????????

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — The gunman in Baghdad who shot and wounded a coalition services member at an International Zone checkpoint on Monday morning was wearing an Iraqi Army officer uniform, an Interior Ministry official said.

But the official said it was unclear if the man really was a soldier or was just wearing a uniform.

A military spokeswoman said a “military-age male” walked to the checkpoint and opened fire. Coalition troops and Iraqi security forces shot the man, who later died of his wounds at a hospital.

yo, i really miss being on here, it hasn't been the same, i feel like  i took a semester off or something and now i gotta play catch up like a mutha. But i'm back and i'm here to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, CP3 did in, and I mean did in San Antonio.  I didn't think they would beat the Spurs in this series but I will be the first to say I'm wrong.  Talking about Chris Paul, now we know that the Hornets are going to face the Lakers in the conference finals.  I think what is going to hurt New Orleans is they aren't deep enough for the Lakers.  Lakers have a nice bench as everyone knows, a bench that is capable of keeping the Lakers in games and often times blowing out games while Kobe rests on the bench, another point I wanted to mention to everyone who doesn't think Kobe deserves the MVP award, you gotta keep in mind, a lot of times in the season Kobe would be sat out for a good part of the fourth quarter while his team dominated.  That to me is something special.  Bryant facilitates the Lakers offense, an offense that gave the Lakers the best record in the Western Conference and so far no playoff losses.  He made his team better this year, played within the offense, didn't force or press the issue.  Chris Paul also did this, I'm not taking anything away from him, he made his team much better, but he is a point guard, he's supposed to be the floor general.  The people who have voted for the award have made the correct call, finally today, Kobe will be MVP, finally.

Go Hornets. The spurs finally ran into a team in the west that plays just like them, moving the ball constantly on offense, lockdown defense and the both have a point guard who constantly pushed the ball. CP3 MVP!
