RIHANNA AND CHRIS BROWN’S BODYGUARD’S BEATING A**?

I heard a photographer for tampabay.com got messed up by bodyguards hired to protect Chris Brown and boo boo Rihanna. Luis Santana, the photog, says he was beat up and robbed last night when he tried to snap pictures of Chris Brown as he celebrated his 19th birthday. See, this was a private party that nobody was really invited to. The security at club Vintage allowed people to take pictures outside. When a Black Excursion pulled up, he got a few shots of Chris Brown leaving, but the bodyguards made the singer sit in the car. What happened next sounds quite crazy. The security allegedly ran Santana down and allegedly ripped his shirt, broke his camera and lens and gave him a knee to the jaw when he was on the ground. He has bruises on his chest, back and arms and the police are looking for the suspects. They are saying that the beatdown could be payback for taking unsolicited pics of Rihanna on Monday.

ALL EYES ON YUNG BERG!

YO…I have never paid so much attention to Young Berg in my life! Here is the latest. Poe Boy Entertainment’s Mista Mac is about to lash out at Yung Berg, from what I heard. YEP! If you didn’t get the memo, Young Berg said in an interview that his own album got pushed back like “Flo Rida’s hairline.” Those two words set cats off! Yesterday Brisco and today Mista Mac. Later this week there’s going to be a diss song dropping by Mista Mac in reference to Bergie’s Flo Rida comment. Brisco is Mista Mac’s younger brother, by the way.

A BOMB AT THE JAY-Z MARY DATE LAST NIGHT?

I don’t know what was going on at Madison Square Garden last night, but I heard something was awry. Well, this is how it went down. Somebody that attended the festivities last night told me that there were bomb sniffing dogs outside of MSG. They were there just sniffing around, but nothing really. I heard one of the bomb sniffing dogs took a crap right there on the sidewalk! Now, I heard in NY you have to clean up after your dog or that’s illegal. I want to file a claim!

THE OPRAH ISSUE

Oprah is OK with me. She’s just from a different era and that’s that. But, I know you remember I mentioned that she attended the “Heart of the City” tour last Friday with Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige. Well, I didn’t reveal the other side to that. I really didn’t want to spoil the aura of positivity that was coming out of the arena. Well, I heard that RIGHT after Mary finished her set both Oprah and pal Gayle King exited Madison Square Garden. I got a little chuckle out of that, but I wasn’t shocked. Mary's show was about an hour so maybe O was just ready to go.

Oh yeah, Oprah used to be a member of Rev. Wright’s church, but left in the 90’s because she wasn’t comfortable with the sermons. I suspect Obama wasn’t in church all that much. LOL.

WE WANT RECORD DEALS!

I heard that there are a number of former artists signed to Atlantic Records out fishing for record deals out in Music Industry Land. In particular, I heard that incubator labels at Universal Records are getting a lot of this traffic from well-known rappers that really need to take their game indie. I guess some folks just want to do business as usual in a climate that is changing like the weather as the globe warms.

Look, I am not trying to hear this mess. People are saying that Kim Kardashian is going to jump off a cliff and get a butt reduction. What would make her go and do that when that’s clearly, her best asset? Like ASSet. Anyway, what it looks like is that Paris Hilton’s mean-spirited comment about her butt looking like a trash bag of cottage cheese got to Kim’s head. Now, she is going to just get some cellulite removal to make Reggie Bush happier. This is a bit strange to me. I am not a female expert, but doesn’t cellulite set into people that are either way overweight or just older?

WOMEN HATING ON ALICIA KEYS!

So, I was talking to somebody a couple of the guys from the AllHipHop staff and we all agreed: women are hating on Alicia Key something fierce right now! It all started when Alicia appeared on David Letterman. If you haven’t seen it look at it now and the discussion will continue after the vid:

GOOD LORD! Seventy-five students have been arrested at San Diego State University in a MASSIVE drug bust! I can’t do this. I’m going to let the Associated Press do the work.

Dozens of San Diego State University students were arrested after a sweeping drug investigation found that some fraternity members openly dealt drugs and one even sent a mass text message advertising cocaine, authorities said Tuesday.

Two kilograms of cocaine were seized, along with 350 Ecstasy pills, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, hash oil, methamphetamine, illicit prescription drugs, several guns and at least $60,000 in cash, authorities said.

Of the 96 people arrested, 75 were students. Eighteen of the students were arrested Tuesday when nine search warrants were executed at various locations including fraternities, said Jesse Rodriguez, San Diego County assistant district attorney.

The undercover probe, dubbed Operation Sudden Fall, was sparked by the cocaine overdose death of a student in May 2007, authorities said. As the investigation continued, another student, from Mesa College, died Feb. 26 of a cocaine overdose at an SDSU fraternity house, the DEA said.

Those arrested included a student who was about to receive a criminal justice degree and another who was to receive a master's degree in homeland security.

This is PURE INSANITY! They sold drugs to undercovers and advertised by sending out emails to their “faithful customers.”
